So I was passing through RVA today and I have to give a quick shout out to Aaron L! He literally turned my trip around with some life changing Bloody Marys and went above and beyond when I had a small issue with my burger. Give that man a raise!! Thank you for making today’s experience so memorable, you were the best part of my trip

I asked Aaron P. to to hook me up with a burger and pair it with a beer. Ended up with the Candied Bacon Guac Burger with the an IPA from Ardent brewery!

Great work Aaron! You’ve got it down for this business. However you should also consider being a radio personality!

Thanks brother!

While at the Richmond airport in Virginia, a friend and his wife were also taking a flight out at around the same time as I was. So they invited me to have a drink at this bar before boarding our flights. As soon as I sat down I couldn’t find anything that resembled a food menu, and all I could see was alcoholic beverages all over the bar. So when a bartender came near me I asked her “Do you guys serve food here?” To which she replied with a smart ass look on her face “WE BETTER!” And don’t get me wrong, it’s not what she said, it’s how she said it. So after that, she disappeared for a while, and finally came back with a menu. She then leaves again for a longer while, so I tried to get another gentleman’s attention so that he could help me with my order. But he totally ignored me. And just so I don’t bore you who are reading this. It took forever to get my food, and to get something to drink was even worse. So good luck to all you who visit the Low Level Grill inside the Richmond Airport. Hopefully you’ll get way better service than I did.

Good food, which says a lot for an airport! Also, Derrick is fantastic with the cocktails! Seriously, I did not expect a delicious margarita, but it happened! And he grabbed some espresso for the martini. So excited!

This is a great place to get a bite to eat and or a drink while waiting for a flight. There is plenty of room to eat and catch up on some emails the atmosphere is open and bright. With pleasant upbeat music to help block out surrounding noise. It’s my favorite airport spot. Service is a great blend of helpful attentive without feeling like they are waiting for you to leave to turn the table. Thank you Mallory for the service. Hope to see you next time I’m in Richmond spending time waiting for my flight!

Wow! This was a top 5 best experience in an airport I’ve ever had. The service is absolutely incredible provided by both Aarons- they were so friendly and attentive. The CBGB burger was soooo good and a perfect pre flight lunch. Will definitely seek this back out as we fly in and out of Richmond!

Gross airport food. Completely different sandwich from the menu. Stale cold house chips. Brown lettuce. Chewy old bacon. Sliced cold tomato instead of fried green tomatoes as described. Bartender should’ve told us of the substitution and issues in the kitchen. Skip this place.

Outrageously rude, “out” of most items, and seemed racist against white patrons.

When the bartender got to me, I asked if they had a kids menu, and he said “no” and walked away without giving me a chance to order anything.

He kept trying to avoid eye contact with me, but finally got back to me, I tried to order a few items (chicken tenders, burger), and everything I asked for he said “We’re out of that.” I asked with a chuckle if they had a big crowd today, and he said “no”.

When I then asked him, “Hey man, have I upset you in some way?” he replied “We just don’t have anything you want here” and started to walk away again.

Another patron sitting there said he’s been mean to most of the white patrons, especially those with kids. So it makes me wonder if they weren’t actually out of half their menu as he suggested.

It was crazy. I’ve never had an experience like this probably in my entire life.

Upon arriving, we walked up to the waitress and asked if any seats were available. She pointed to an available table. From that point forward, none of the three waitresses served us; didn’t even approach us.

They appeared to just stand around. After about 45 minutes of waiting, we decided to attempt to order online through GRAB; it worked, but it was about 10 minutes late. 10 or so minutes after I approached the bar to pick up my order. I expect that they cooked it quickly.

When we received our order, it looked “quickly” cooked and the fries weren’t good. The chicken tenders were better than they looked, but we were starving after waiting an hour and a half.

The waitresses never approached us. While waiting at the bar, there was a young man who appeared to be single handedly working that entire half the store himself, moving from table to table quickly, and he took care of me while I waited.

A guy beside us got up and left without food, and the people that took his place were never approached. All the tables next to the host station were waited on. They all ordered, got served, and left while we sat there.
