Had a Coors Banquet & a Bloody Mary. They make their own mix and it’s delicious. The garlic bread with bar cheese and liver pate is exceptional. Great service too.

Came in for dinner two night in a row because the first night was so good. Got the daily specials both nights. Friday night was the fish and it really hit the spot. Saturday was beef tenderloin and blackened shrimp which the shrimp made up for what the beef was lacking. Both meals were great and the service, was on point. Will be coming back here more than just a couple times a years because of the food and service.

My husband got chicken strips and fries. Both were good. We shared an order of fried pickles which were also good. I had 6 boneless wings. Unfortunately, 3 of them were mostly fat and inedible. The garlic sauce was flavorful though. The slaw was different, but good. I took home some bread pudding. Looked very different than any other bread pudding I’ve ever had. Didn’t look like egg custard at all. No frosting or glaze, just whipped cream??? It tasted better than it looked. Rather pricey in my opinion. $63.00 plus tip for two people.

11/20/25 @ noon: 4 adults, no wait, not busy at all. Many memories just walking into this restaurant (snowmobiling days of past). Not much has changed, but it is very homey & a very nostalgic place.
Two of us had the Honey Fried Chicken, that came with a potato of choice (baked potato, fries, mashed, etc.) & a salad (or Coleslaw-vinegar based or cottage cheese); one had the Hot Crab Sandwich that came with fries & salad; and the 4th person had the Liver & Onions which came with a potato & a salad. 3 of us also got dessert: 1 the Carrot cake & 2 of the Banana Bourbon Bread Pudding (served warm with whip cream). Everything was really delicious. The servings were huge, took home leftovers.
The bartender was our wait staff & did a wonderful job. Thanks.

Valentine’s Day: Dinner for 2 $175 at an old bar!?? Food was listed as “Marker Price” and was WAY overpriced ($90) for small 12oz prime rib and 1 crab leg that was horribly fishy, ($50) for small ribeye served rare (ordered medium) covered in canned mushrooms..-stems and pieces, lukewarm warm baked potato, salad SWIMMING in bleu cheese dressing.
Atmosphere: Standing water in entry way, Glade plug-in right by our table (we unplugged it it was so strong), sticky table (had to ask for it to be cleaned) Older staff member was yelling at bar workers, bus tub wedged between our table and the table next to ours.
We will not be returning.
