The chips and salsa were phenomenal. The service was a little slow. They seemed slightly overwhelmed with the size of the crowds but appeared to manage themselves well as It happened to be graduating weekend. The food came out in a timely manner and was absolutely delicious. The carne guisada was tender and delectable.

This was our first visit and it was a good experience. We were seated without waiting, and our server was very attentive. We ordered a taco/enchilada combo and fish street tacos/street corn. The taco/enchilada combo was good. The street tacos were bland. However, as stated earlier, it was an overall good experience.

Do NOT recommend this place. This was the most dingy beat down place my wife and I have been to in Lubbock. We could smell the bathroom from our seats and began to lose our appetite. Sever was slow and didn’t have any urgency to attend to us even though it was damn near empty. Not to mention there was crumbs and sauce on our chairs and table that my wife had cleaned up. I am very unsatisfied with my experience. Wouldn’t waist my time or money again.

Very delicious food. We went around 2:30 and had about a 10 minute wait. Amanda was the only waitress/hostess. She did an excellent job waiting on six tables at one time.

It’s a little upsetting to me that the best thing about my experience at this Mexican food restaurant were the French fries my kids got with their meals. Before I go any further I will say that the kids meals are very generous in their portions so If that’s important to you…
I’ve been going back and forth between two and three stars for this place but I settled on two because I really was not at all impressed and will not be going back. I ordered the brisket flautas and while none of our food took very long at all to come to the table, my flautas were altogether flavorless and the “cheese sauce” they come with was lumpy and some of the worst I’ve ever had.
Even their “salsa,” which while tasted okay, had the look and consistency of marinara sauce. The beans and rice and the French fries are really the only good marks I can bestow upon this place. It wasn’t very clean. They were using a table near ours to stack dirty dishes on.
The food looked and smelled really good. I was really quite excited when it came out. Then I bit into it and the whole story changed. There really are several incredibly better Mexican restaurants in Lubbock and the surrounding areas, I REALLY wouldn’t suggest spending your hard-earned dollars at this one.

Service is always top notch. Food and drinks are delicious. They have daily specials and I love Thursday’s.
Went tonight and I stand by my last review EXCEPT for one thing. My husband ordered a dirty martini and I ordered a bloody Mary. We waited over 10 minutes because the bartender was chatting up some customers at the back of the bar. Finally, after our waiter reminded him twice that an order was waiting, he came to make our drinks. Unfortunately, he then told the waiter ” Can’t make the martini, I don’t have olive juice”. No apologies he just didn’t seem to care and maybe I’m spoiled but the bloody Mary tasted like liquor and old tomato juice.

Green Cleaner
Food is decently tasty. I have been here twice now and both times they have messed up my order. Also first time they let me order a substitution but the second time wouldn’t. Doesn’t matter because both times they got it wrong. Id eat it again because it was priced well and tasted well. Hopefully they figure out how to not mess the order up.
