Absolutely love this place, and that was a surprise! They have an extensive and creative menu around hot dogs, AND a variety of dogs. I believe there is a vegan option (can’t remember). It was a quiet Saturday afternoon when we came. The staff is super friendly and the food was tasty! Some dishes were harder to eat like a traditional dog, but still tasty!!!

Food was great! Tons of choices for toppings on your hotdog. I ordered a fried egg, avocado, bacon hotdog and it was amazing. My partner got a fruity pie hot dog. Definitely recommend!

Ate here today for the first time. Always have wanted to try even before it opened! This place was absolutely amazing Ended up having to take the food to go due to an emergency. The waiter was very accommodating and friendly even after the emergency came up. the other staff were very welcoming

Cheers to the vegan hot dogs! This is the first time since I stopped eating meat that I’ve been able to enjoy a Chicago dog. My only regret is that I didn’t order two. Our group also had the cheese dog, Hawaii 505, fries, chile tots, and vegetarian frito pie dog. I’m so excited to go back.

You can have any kind of hot dog you desire here! I really enjoyed their hand dipped corn dog and their onion rings were just the right amount of crispy on the outside with sweet and tender onion on the inside. If you don’t care for onion rings there French Fries are good too. Jane was kind and helped make our experience that much better. It looked like they had several beers on tap. Go check ‘em out. I love the name too and wish I would have asked if it was inspired by the 90’s movie “Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitters Dead”. I’ll definitely go back when I’m in ABQ again.

So many awesome things to say about this place. The food elevates hot dogs to several levels that range from loaded classics, to fun and quirky, and build your own dream come true. Loved it so much that they had hand made jalapeño poppers. The atmosphere was fun and friendly.

This place is nothing short of amazing. Aside from the food being amazing, I have the upmost respect for the owner Rich. Such a good dude all around. The atmosphere was right for me every time during my visit. I would highly recommend the Frito dog and I also liked the Tattooed Lady which I would have never ordered but was recommended by the bartender. The jalapeño poppers are a must. The batter is like the best corn dog batter that ever existed. Everything is super good here. I wish nothing but the best to the Clowndog family! Cheers, it’s been great!
