A Hidden Gem in Oregon House – Clover Café Shines
What a pleasant surprise to stumble upon Clover Café in the charming town of Oregon House. This beautiful little spot exudes warmth and comfort from the moment you walk in. The ambience is cozy and inviting—perfect for a relaxed meal or a quiet coffee break.
The food? Absolutely delicious. Every bite was thoughtfully prepared, and the flavors were spot on. From presentation to taste, it’s clear the kitchen takes pride in their craft. The service was equally impressive—friendly, efficient, and genuinely welcoming.
And Clover Café, you looked amazing. The décor, the vibe, the energy—it all came together beautifully. We’re already looking forward to our next visit to explore more of the menu.
Highly recommended for anyone passing through or lucky enough to live nearby. This café is a true local treasure.

We had a breakfast burrito, and french toast woth scrambled eggs and bacon. I am not overexhaggerating, the best breakfast I have had in a looong time. Bacon was pefect flavor, crisp. Sausage in the burrito was the same quality. All of the food perfect. Then I tested the Masala Chai. I never get a perfect Masala Chai. The barista this morning knocked it out of the park including my girlfriends. Wonderful service. Wonderful place to stop and eat. Thank you for being exceptional!

This is really a hidden gem. Way out in the middle of nowhere in Oregon house, California, a beautiful little café with surprisingly gourmet brunch offerings. Cute interior, and an even more pleasant exterior porch, with super friendly service and yummy food. My husband and I shared a pear, pecan and blue cheese salad along with chicken schnitzel, and all of the ingredients were fresh and delicious. If you live in Chico or Orville or anywhere in the surrounding areas, it’s worth a drive out to taste their offerings. We plan on coming back and doing some kayaking at nearby Collins Lake, and having lunch here again.

came here on a friday for lunch while visiting family and what a local gem! it’s such a homey feeling here the ambiance feels comfortable and fresh. they have a full coffee bar and some pastries but we opted just for the regular lunch menu. the staff was very friendly and helpful when answering questions we had as we were all first timers. ordered a burger and wow one of the best burgers i’ve ever had. it tasted so fresh and the fries were air fried and even those were better than regular deep fried fries!! next time we are up visiting family we will be sure to stop by again!!!

This outdoor dining area offers a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a meal. The food quality is exceptional. The chicken sandwich stands out with its perfectly crispy breading and a nicely toasted bun. The thinly sliced onions add just the right amount of sharpness, complementing the flavors beautifully. A truly satisfying and flavorful experience.

Yes, I rated this ‘rant @ 2-stars, BUT….I still want you to eat there so they can stay in business, BUT…they would do well to have pancakes at Humpty-Dumpty’s in Grass Valley in order to compare size of pancakes and non-rubbery texture of HD’s pancakes, and then…make your, the Clover Cafe’s pancakes bigger and less CHEWY! And…review how many people are on the grill cooking in terms of how long it took my ‘cakes to be served, even though there were only 2 other parties in the restaurant. I did find the atmosphere peaceful. Oh, and try taste testing other coffees.

This is a lovely place to hangout and eat. Inside or outdoors. They have a nice back porch and garden area. The restaurant is clean, including the restroom. The atmosphere is very relaxed. I love the decor. There is a display of books near the ordering counter, by local authors.

Friendly hostess/waitress and was very helpful with ordering. Food and beverages are ordered at the front counter. Lots of unique breakfast items. I got a Spanish omelette with sourdough toast. Very tasty. My partner got a ham and egg croissant breakfast sandwich. Looked tasty. Atmosphere is really cozy and loved looking out onto the gardens. Would be fun to dine outside when the weather is nice.

I didn’t visit here to eat food. I found this place because I wanted to drink a cup of coffee, but it was not low because it was a place using Temple coffee bean. If it’s not a professional cafe, as usual, it doesn’t control the temperature, measure the extraction weight, etc., so I drank it without expecting it. It was just a good taste of coffee, and the atmosphere was good, so I stayed there for a while and drank coffee. You can also listen to live music on Friday, so please visit.
