Our new favorite restaurant! Lots of variety, hearty portions and unique flavors all with the vibe of a local upscale pub. Perfect for a casual date night. The only qualms I have about this place is they could use some indoor seating, but we still really enjoy their patio.

They care a lot about their food and they do a great job on it. The prices are reasonable given what you get. I love the steak sandwich and their nachos but you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. I feel like their limited menu means that all the food they offer is good.
It’s consistently packed, there is not enough seating and the online ordering can take up to an hour.

Go hungry!!! The portions are huge! We had the buffalo cauliflower with blue cheese dressing to dip in – a little bit of a kick, really tasty! We both ordered burgers medium rare – and shout out to the chef that actually made them medium rare and didn’t overcook them:)! The people next to us had the spring rolls – which were HUGE! They actually said they had come back specifically for the spring rolls – always a good indication! Fabulous menu! We’ve been wanting to come as lots of friends have recommended this place.
We were there on Derby day, but it was packed! We were able to get a cute table in the corner of the second room, which was fantastic and cozy. There is a fabulous bar – great place to watch sports, hang out with friends. If you want to have a spot a little more quiet, lots of light, pick a table in the second room.
Service was quick! Order at the bar when you go in and then they bring to the table. Everyone was really friendly, fast and checked in on us several times to see if we needed anything.
Street parking was easy enough.

My first time here tonight and wow! We will be back! Portion sizes are insane. We took an entire dish home because there was just too much food. We got the tofu spring roll, Brussels sprouts, and nachos. Nachos were salty but loved that toppings were layered in between chips, not just dumped on top. Delicious margarita. Great concept of self-serve with water and takeout containers, and seating is first come first served. I saw lots of games and cards for groups of friends. I can’t wait to come back! This is one of the top restaurants in the area.

We were here Sat nite which was lively bar and with roomy seating area, including some tucked-off sections, perfect for groups or a casual night out. We enjoyed their selection of beers on tap and creative cocktails, which complemented our food perfectly.
We ordered the buffalo cauliflower, nachos with pulled pork on the side, a burrito-sized veggie wrap, and the baba ganoush with hummus—it was all delicious! The Brussel sprouts are also a speciality but are very heavy. Service is waitress-only after you place your order (just put your number on the table), and you serve your own water while drinks can be picked up from the bar. It was such a lovely time and a spot we’ll definitely return to. Enjoy!

The drinks were amazing and the food was obviously very fresh and high quality. The experience is odd and frustrating since you’re pretty much on your own when you step inside. It was our first time there so we had no idea you have to go to one side of the restaurants to look at the menu on the wall, then go stand in line to order, grab your own water and hopefully find a seat.
But the gimmick aside, it’s really good.
Pulled pork nachose: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These are SO good. The ingredients were layered instead of just being stacked on top, everything tasted amazing, and the pork was so good
Artichoke dip: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ These are good but a little heavy on the garlic. You lose some of the other flavors to it
Spring roll: ⭐ This was made with fresh ingredients but it’s an absurd size. My wife actually didn’t eat it because it was bigger than a burrito and there was absolutely no way she was able to get all the ingredients in a single bite. Spring rolls aren’t meant to be tasted 1 ingredient at a time, you need to be able to get them all in a single bite. This was definitely a gimmick item, albeit fresh, because the only way to taste all the ingredients at once is to cut it up and use a fork to eat the ingredients

Great vibes, food, drinks and service. Cloud Red without a doubt is the best bar & restaurant in Shorewood and the North Shore. It’s generally pretty busy most nights. You have to order food at the bar, but it’s worth the wait. Delicious food, shareable apps, covered cozy back patio with fire pits and blankets, and front patio outside weather permitting. Lots of local Beer and kombucha on tap, plus well crafted cocktails.

Po boy was really.. really good. Portion is big.

Cloud Red is a hidden gem located in Whitefish Bay, offering a cool LA vibe that sets it apart from the local restaurant scene. The owner has curated a fresh and unique menu that’s difficult to describe, making it a standout in Milwaukee. With ample parking, fantastic service, and an amazing interior, it offers a top-notch experience. The cocktails are incredible, and the restaurant is spotlessly clean, with various inviting dining areas to choose from. I don’t give this much praise often.

Absolutely phenomenal. We got the chopped Thai salad and added grilled chicken, as well as got the pulled pork nachos. The flavors of both dishes were complex and balanced, and utter perfection. The portion sizes were impressively generous. We’re already planning our next visit to try more of the menu, and revisit what are already new favorites.
