Such delicious food!! Stopped here on our drive to Mystic and so glad we did. The server informed us that they recently changed lobster and now it is sweeter – I’m so glad they did because the lobster meat was juicy and delicious! Highly recommend the Captains Roll which has fresh crab meat and lobster meat. We also split the seafood sampler which lets you enjoy multiple types of seafood at once. I wish the portion size was a tiny bit bigger but overall it was great and I’d order again!

I dined here for the first time on June 10, 2023. I ordered lobster Mac and cheese and Nick’s calamari. I found the lobster to be rather dry and over cooked. Nonetheless, I returned here on July 5, 2023 and sat at the bar.(photo attached) I ordered a shrimp basket with a side salad. The waitress offered me bread, which I accepted. The shrimp was out of this world- juicy, lightly battered with a succulent flavor. I forget the name of the drink but it was on the bitter side. It is not something that I would order again, but I gave a shot. The waitress told me that is was pretty popular.

I am not sure how we live only 30 min away and we had never come across this hidden gem before. The entire staff was very friendly from the moment we arrived. Started out with the Midnight Margarita and the Pickle Martini. Both drinks were very good. We were asked if we wanted bread and quickly said “yes.” Good thing we did. While the regular bread was good, the corn bread was excellent, it did not last very long. For an app we got the Nick’s Calamari. Great twist with the fried eggplant, and the calamari was incredibly tender. We had the Lazy Lobster and the Diver Scallops for dinner. Good amount of lobster meat in the dish on a night I did not feel like shelling my own. The scallops were cooked perfectly. We had no room for dessert this time around, but we will certainly be back. Our server was was great. Friendly and attentive. Overall an excellent dining experience.

Food was amazing and my server Chelsea was amazing. Chelsea was very attentive and on top of everything. She was right with the recommendations that she gave us of what to have. She went above and beyond. We need more customer service people like her. Best service ever and best calamari ever. Will definitely be coming back.

This is a pretty, cozy restaurant with an attractive menu. The selection is wide and fresh: oysters, shrimp, steamers, clams, mussels, lobster and many different fresh fish are available. The drinks, especially the wine, are good value. $40 affords a very nice wine. Unfortunately, the entrees were bland and accompanied by sub-par service. After forgetting one of our items, cocktail shrimp, and one of the side substitutions, cauliflower instead of cream cheese sweet potato mash, our server seemed to avoid our table. One’s money may be better spent at other seafood establishments.

Excellent fresh seafood! Service was fantastic. Our server was very pleasant and knew the menu very well. We had fresh Steamers in a white wine butter broth…AMAZING!! Had clam strips. So fresh, not chewy or greasy, cooked perfectly. My husband had the fishermans platter. Just as good as mine. Will definitely be back again real soon!!

This was our first time here, we did not reserve a table but was allowed to dine with no wait. The service was excellent great customer service. Food was excellent we order a bottle Apple Chardonnay wine, swordfish tacos with sweet potato fries and for an appetizer we order the bam bam shrimp. The food was nice and hot, fries were crunchy on the outside but tender inside best sweet potato fries I had, swordfish nice and tender cooked perfectly. The Bam Bam shrimp had a great crunch shrimp was cooked perfectly not over done. I would definitely go back.

Nice atmosphere. We ate out in patio area. Food looked appealing, however, for my taste Seafood Platter wasn’t cooked enough inside the golden brown crust. The appetizers were yummy. Had an unusual beet and goat cheese delight! Also, fried calamari and octopus cooked just right!
