Stopped by after a 13-mile jog thinking this would be a good pit stop, but the experience was pretty disappointing. The bartender said she couldn’t serve because there was no cash in the till until her boss showed up — meanwhile, one guy already had a beer and another was sipping coffee.
The door was locked at 8:15 a.m. even though the hours said open at 7:45, so another customer and I had to wait outside. When I finally got in and said I’d be paying with a card, she just pointed to the ATM. Another patron mentioned they’re an older establishment and not up to date with modern POS systems, which makes sense now.
I did enjoy the small beer sample I was given — that was the only highlight. Other than that, the visit was a miss. Might give it another chance someday, but honestly, I doubt it. Ended up heading to Chuck’s Trading Post instead.

Did not have the food here, but Jimmy is great! We came late on a Sunday and he showed us a great time. Drinks are priced well. We’ve been here before, but Jimmy created a welcoming atmosphere and offered great conversation. They’re making a real effort to appeal to a higher end customer; the bathrooms are newly renovated. Looking forward to seeing upgrades. Will be returning!

Always a nice atmosphere for a couple of drinks,or in my case a bucket of Budweisers, at the most reasonable prices in town. I have to be honest I’ve been a frequent customer at the the Clipper Mill Inn so I believe I’ve kept the secret long enough.

Treated like common thieves because at the time we walked in, a woman, who had had more than her fair share of alcohol, had mislaid her phone. Due to lighting, I didn’t notice it was on the table we sat at, and my bf inadvertently laid his hat on top. of the phone. We spent 30 minutes, give or take, helping her search- I even downloaded the FindMyPhone app in an effort to help! When we got ready to go out to smoke, my bf picked up his hat and discovered the phone and immediately returned it, amid snide and snarky comments from some of the customers…
Then, last nite, bf tried to go in and waa told he wasnt.allowed back in- for stealing her phone!!!

Very poor service from the bartenders. The waiting time to get service is ridiculously long since the bartenders rather sit and gossip with other customers rather than keep up with the rest of the customers. Not to mention the customers are not so friendly themselves.
