The bacon looked good but was too chewy. I’d expect better from a place like this. The fresh orange juice is also excellent but $6.50 for such a small portion is kind of a ridiculous price. The breakfast was $19 plus the juice
The service was adequate but nothing special. The atmosphere and time out market is nice. And had an amazing view of the Brooklyn bridge and lower Manhattan.
We got the omelette plate and the eggs benedict. Everything tasted good, just not particularly special — solid breakfast food, but nothing you haven’t had before. The hash browns were nicely crispy though.
Coffee was simple, but the nice part is you can get refills, which is always a plus.
It’s true—the food is good, and without a doubt, the pancakes are delicious: some of the best we’ve had in this great city. They have the perfect texture—fluffy, soft, sweet, and absolutely tasty. The maple butter drizzled on top wraps them in an extraordinary explosion of flavor. That’s why we came here—and we found exactly that: a rich, indulgent, and unforgettable dish.
However, here’s what the videos don’t show. The space is shared, as it’s part of the Time Out Market. So you’ll be surrounded by noise, you’ll need to line up to place your order, and then hope to find a free table—which, in such a popular spot, can feel like an impossible task.
The staff is kind, but the setup doesn’t allow for much interaction, so some of the magic and charm of dining out is lost. If you’re someone who enjoys being pampered and values comfort, this may not be the place for you. But if you’re willing to wait a while—first to order, then to find a seat—go for it. The food is fantastic and worth the effort.
Note: If you get eggs, eat immediately. They get cold every quickly
Although the location is gorgeous, the setting is unique – shared seating is throughout this Brooklyn venue. Great views. staffing were seen bussing tables and behind the counters at the various restaurants. This is not your traditional restaurant – it’s more llike a food court.
It was very busy with tourists. The noise level is high and some customers were not polite – I think I’m going to try out the spot in Manhattan, the next time. But the atmosphere is not a major deterrent from me going back.
You can pick up “any” table in the market, place your order via QR code on the table and they will deliver your dishes for you. No need to queue. However, it may take up to 30 min after your order.
This building has amazing view of Brooklyn bridge on the rooftop. Must see!
If you’re looking for anything beyond the pancakes, other staples such as the omelette leave something to be desired. It was bland and relatively lacking in flavor along with the potatoes and stale bread it was served alongside.
The location at The Time Out is functional enough, but if you’re looks for a cozy/comfortable brunch spot where you’d want to hang out for a while, this is not it.
