Clinton gourmet used to be one of my go to’s. Not after last night. Ate the beef and broccoli. Soon after developed the most vicious case of food poisoning. Knife stabs to the abdomen until 5am. Vomiting every 20 minutes. I almost called an ambulance. It was the worst thing I’ve ever been through.

Neat and clean little place, operated by a charming couple. Ordered egg foo yung, pork fried rice, chicken wings, and egg rolls. Everything was yummy, hot, and fresh. The wings are a bit smallish, but great tasting, and you can order them with no batter. Highly recommend.

Ignore the bad reviews, they are complete lies. I have been going here consistently for years, and the food has always been fresh, delicious, big portions. Best Chinese food and the service is so sweet!

Ordered take out. I ordered 2 appetizer combo plates, 1 large side order of egg rolls, large beef fried rice & large beef w/ broccoli (to feed 3 big guys) The owners Katy & Joe are the nicest people you will ever meet. I have been a customer of their restaurant since 2008. Their food is always constantly fresh, hot & very flavorful. They are only offering take out at this time but, there food is worth the drive to & from their restaurant. Give them a try & you will not be disappointed

My favorite suburban Massachusetts Chinese restaurant. It’s nothing to write home about but 10 years in San Francisco and I still crave this spot’s peeking ravioli and chicken with cashew nut. There’s something very lovable and homey about the food.

Update: 9/18/22: we’ve been here a few times since the winter. The food has progressively gotten better, and is back to where it was. No more traveling out of town for Chinese food. Thanks for all your hard work Clinton Gourmet!
Update 2.20.22: for whatever reason, many of the recipes here have changed. Unfortunately, it’s not nearly as good as it was.

The food is always consistently good, and large portions. Everything on the menu has been great, as I try to order something different every time.
My only gripe is that, they are so busy that often the wait can be long, and often if they say your food will be ready in 30mins, it will likely be an hour. That said, it is worth the wait!

Update: it’s been a couple of years now since I first reviewed this restaurant.
Unfortunately, I can’t say that this one of the best anymore. The quality of the food has gone way down. They still offer large portions and the staff is very friendly and helpful. But, the food has almost no flavor.
I would guess that they aren’t using much seasoning or any of the things that make Chinese food taste like Chinese food. Maybe they’re trying to save money. I don’t know. The result is that it tastes like plain chicken, beef, and pork. It’s really too bad because I used to love eating here.

They left a broken stick in my beef teriyaki. No surprise it broke, 3x too thick. Was surprised to bite it. No knife skills, no ethics. It’s OK food if you’re drunk, but get ready for bungee traps

Excellent food and service.
Joe and Katie always remembers my drinks and even what I like to eat. The kids there are adorable. They’re a very cute family restaurant.
And I think the french fries here are MUCH better than McDonald’s; they are nothing like the regular fries at other fries. They’re actually very crispy and fresh.
