We had a good dinner at Cliffside this long weekend. Our server was nice and made some good recommendations which were appreciated, however kitchen service was super slow, it probably took a good 45 minutes for our order to arrive. Our group order the cod, the bison steak and the brisket Mac and cheese. The steak and the French onion soup were incredible ! 5 ⭐️ no questions asked! The cod was good however the portion was extremely small. Just a bit of risotto and felt like the serving was only half of one portion. The Mac and cheese was good though the brisket could have also been more noticeable, it was blended in and you could barely tell it had meat. I am giving 3 stars as I do think that for the scale and price point of the restaurant, I was expecting more decent size portions. The steak was a good portion. I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

From calling to book the reservation, to setting up the tables and making sure we had enough space, to making us the best dessert tray! Thank you all so much for your amazing atmosphere and service. The cherry on top the food is five star. Everyone was raving about their meals from the carrot cake pancakes, smash burgers, and steak sandwich…all delicious and many more we want to go back and try.

We have been here a few times now. This time we had the beet salad with salmon, buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with salad. Food was delicious, service was friendly and fast, and the setting is beautiful. One of our favourites in the area!

We went on a valentines dinner and got a complimentary rose.
We didn’t sit in the indoor dining area because the plan was kinda last minutes and the reservations for the dining area were all gone. We got the lounge and it was a better deal overall.
Would love to go in the summers.

Hard to know where to start describing our belated valentines dinner; but ill do my best…
A bit of a trek to get to the location, but so worth it. The atmosphere and decor was top notch. The ambiance at night was lovely (we chose to sit in the lounge area, as it was a little more intimate for the off season.) Emaras warm hospitality was evident from the start. Spectacularly attentive, knowledgable, and sincere. Also had the pleasure of light conversation with Neil throughout the courses. And again, really sincere and accommodating.
We came curious about the $40, 3 course tab le dot menu (incredible value, considering the atmosphere and calibre of service and food) but looking at the menu we chose to order a la carte. We over ordered, (as intended) french onion soup, tuna ahi and a beet salad appetizer; followed by the tomahawk pork chop with apple chutney and the lamb shank for mains. Every dish, perfectly presented, well balanced and reasonably priced. Just an absolute 5 star meal prepared by Owen Kaitlin and Dan.
a heineken and pear spritz with the appetizers and an italian valpolicella with the entrees and a smokey old fasioned with the creme brule dessert. Great parings with a great meal.
One of the best dining experiences ive had in a long time 10/10 thank you and we will certainly be back.

I had brunch at the Cliffside Dec 31st with my family and on my own before heading home on Jan 1st. The atmosphere is fabulous, and the view is incredible! Brunch with my family, we had Zack as our server, and he was wonderful! Very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delicious! We shared some sweet breakfast items together, and then I had the eggs benedict with salmon. It was all exceptional!
On the 1st, I ate the traditional breakfast at the bar and was welcomed into the restaurant by Taryn, the hostess! She is absolutely spectacular! Her attention to detail and the way she interacts with every customer who comes into the restaurant is amazing! She even took the time to make sure that I had everything I needed! She is super friendly and welcoming, and it really adds to the wonderful experience that the Cliffside brings. The traditional breakfast was exactly as I asked; perfect over easy eggs, crispy bacon, and sour dough bread. Their home fries are incredible!
I highly recommend this restaurant and the experience that it brings, and I can’t wait to return again!

As locals we have always been curious about how the Cliffside restaurant at Muskoka Bay resort was. We mutually decided we wanted to try it out. What an awesome location we chose for dinner. Our table overlooked the golf course 300 feet above the greens. We had Laura as our server and she made this romantic birthday dinner very special! From start to finish she was great she even brought my wife a desert with a candle in it! I had the New York strip and she had the blackened chicken we both cleaned our plates! We will be back!

Had a fantastic experience at Cliffside! The food was outstanding — hats off to the chef for delivering such flavorful, beautifully prepared dishes. Every bite was impressive. The staff checked in often and made sure we had everything we needed. We left happy and already looking forward to our next visit.
