Best grilled chicken sandwich my wife ever had. I had a cheeseburger and it was very good. Simple place. Friendly staff. Bathrooms are a bit rough. Very affordable.

we ordered cauliflower for an app. It was good, hot and crunchy. Serve d with honey mustard sauce. Tenderloin was good and crispy on the edges. Kaiser roll fresh. Tomato in the sandwich was great! Fresh! Patty Melt good: could use just a little more cheese. Tatie tots crispy and good. Waitress was funny, timely , honest and great. She also was the cook! Got a shot of their famous homemade “ apple pie”. OMG : so good. Cliffs lives up to the dive bar rep but the service is so wonderful and the food so good. This place is a gem in the middle of the country!

Best breaded pork tenderloin I’ve ever eaten…anywhere. And I’ve eaten tenderloins all across Iowa. Perfect size, perfect thickness, tender and cooked to perfection. And all for $7.95 – unbelievable.
