I stopped here by myself for lunch. It felt like my grandparents were making me food. It was amazing. The food was so flavorful yet balanced. I ate way to much and they sent me home with leftovers. The whole experience did take some time. I just recommend to treat this place like the destination and not a pit stop. Order whatever is on special and relax. I hope I get to come back here one day soon.

Stopped by to try something different from the usual West Texas grub & stumbled on this hidden gem. Have never tried Argentinian cuisine but i was pleasantly surprised. Great food, Great friendy Service & Great relaxing atmosphere !!! Recommend the Clerico orange juice, accordion for an appetizer & the Canolene for an entrée. The portions are huge & more importantly the quality DELICIOUS couldn’t finish my plate but left room for the Clerico brownie Will definitely be returning to sample the other options on the menu. Couldn’t have asked for better food or service & even more it was easy on the wallet compared to the majority of places out here in West Texas

This is a one of a kind place that you want to find when traveling ! The outside is charming, a house that now houses the restaurant with 3 rooms. So quaint! The food was outstanding, fresh and so delicious. I had the special ravioli, meatballs and sauce.
My husband had the Pastel de papas which was so much food! No room for dessert unfortunately. Plus, the owners are wonderful and we felt like family. Again, a must stop in this small town.

I was driving from Arizona back to Texas and I got hungry. Looked up something to eat and saw a 5 star restaurant which I rarely see on Google! This couple is amazing together, this gentleman and his wife made me feel like I was apart of their family. The wife can cook anything! The food taste fresh like it was from another country! I felt like I was in Argentina! I love these people, i wish I didnt live so far! I want to try everything on the menu. The cheese was fresh, soooo good. This food was delicious!!!! Thank you I will be back!

My daughter and I decided to try Clerico after driving by and seeing that it was hosted out of a beautiful old Victorian house right on the main street in Colorado City. After seeing so many positive reviews, we had to try it! We’re new to the city and all about trying non-chain restaurants.
We were not disappointed in the least bit. Everything that was said in the reviews before me seemed to be true. The owners are warm, kind and caring as they serve you drinks, appetizers, and entrees. The quality of the food is fantastic and freshly made by the owner. Food portions are very large which we did not expect. Appetizers generally seem appropriate for parties of 3 or 4. If you go by yourself or with 2, you will need a to-go box! While I’m not a vegetarian, they do offer many things with veggies only as an option like the Empanadas.
Recommend parking at the Lowe’s Market (very close) just across the street as there is very little parking in front which could end up trapping your vehicle between other guests.
The quaint historic home alongside what felt like instant Argentinian family really made us feel at home. We had never tried Argentinian food until now, but we’re sold. We will absolutely be back with an appetite! Thank you so much for the experience you provide.

I travel a lot for work and therefore eat out a lot. This is one of less than five resteraunts I have eaten at in my life where I genuinely felt like a guest in someone’s dining room. Super nice people who definitely take pride in the food they are serving. Warning, the servings are huge. 2 people can easily share a meal. I cannot say enough about how good the food was. I hope to work out this way again sometime so that I can return.

The food is incredible, the service is fantastic, and the atmosphere is unique! It’s like going to a family member’s house for a cozy, home cooked meal. We get the accordion appetizer (the dish in the picture) every time we eat there, and we have loved everything we’ve tried!
