Its been years since I’ve been back to Clawson’s but it’s still an amazing place to eat. The pick 3 fried seafood platter was excellent. The flouder had an amazing taste. The onion rings are to die for.

By far the best Mahi meal you will ever eat. The fish was cooked to perfection along with the rice, green beans and carrots.
I would drive 3-1/2 hours just to eat it again.

We were warmly greeted at the door and shown to a booth. I have heard about the dirigible on the radio and that was our reason for visiting today. It was 100% worth the visit as it was quite possibly the best stuffed baked potato that I have ever had. I went with the OG version and my mom chose to have hers topped with fried shrimp. Wayne was our server and he was attentive and very pleasant to deal with. The inside of this restaurant is like stepping back in time but in a good way if that makes sense? There is a lot of wood on the interior and it has a classic feel to it without being dated. Our table was visited by not only a manager, but also the owner of the restaurant and we appreciate the attention that they put into delivering a great experience! Sadly, the potato was too much food for my mom to finish and when Wayne brought a take-home box for the rest of her meal I had to step in. I just could not bring myself to let that stuff starch go uneaten so I took one for the team and ingested massive amounts of starch but it was 100% worth it!

Attentive staff, historic surrounds, and tasteful food. Great experience all around. The crab cakes were just right, not too dry or moist, the mahi was just as tasty. The mud pie for desert topped off a terrif culinary experience.

Disappointing lunch at Clawson’s 1905. Service was great, very friendly. Food was a letdown. Pimento BLT was average to start with, but the thick, unripe and hard tomato was inedible. We told the manager and he said he “could bring out different tomatoes, but you’re basically done with the sandwich“ What? I had to pull out the tomato, which is a key component of a BLT, and since there was only one slice of bacon on it, basically ate half of a mushy pimento cheese sandwich. No, you offer a new sandwich or remove it from the bill. Neither was done. Ridiculous. The fish and chips were OK, but the oily fish was resting on top of the chips so they were all oily. Better places to eat in the area.

This was a excellent meal, I have to admit it was not our first choise, we were looking for a waterfront restaurant but were turned away because we did not have reservations. All I will say about that is we were glad. This place is amazing the food delicious. Try the swordfish chefs special. Enjoy

We’ve been going here for years. Everything was great tonight. Our server was very attentive, offered some suggestions, answered some questions and made sure our dinner was perfect. We had a shrimp burger, crab cake sandwich with some bisque, and chicken tenders. Everyone was quite satisfied. I opted for the veggie medley instead of fries and was impressed. Not overcooked and excellent with a lemony hint of flavor. I could have eaten another bowl….

A fantastic place for dinner! I was in the area for work and I am so glad I walked into Clawson’s! Kayla was so welcoming when I walked in and took such great care of me while I was there!! She makes amazing drinks and is so sweet. I had the mahi mahi for dinner and it was amazing! Highly recommend! And the key lime pie is outstanding!! If you are in the area definitely check this place out!
