Great find! As a fellow Salvadoran, I’m a tough critic when it comes to pupusas. I only ordered one as this was my first time visiting, I got the Chicharrón con queso (pork and cheese). It was one of the best pupusas I’ve had in this area, it had great flavor and tasted so fresh.

We also ordered the chilaquiles rojos and added carne asada which is not a typical Mexican style but it definitely has a Salvi twist and I really enjoyed it.

We also ordered Jerrys Skillet which also had good flavor but it wasn’t to my liking.

The coffee was also really good.

I will for sure be back to try more of the menu!

Arriba El Salvador!

Everything from the service, the atmosphere, and food were definitely on point. I highly recommend to go give this plate a try. I had the Jerry’s Skillet with mozzarella cheese and it was my favorite skillet to date! I will definitely be coming back again soon.

I just ate here today. What a wonderful experience!! The bean and cheese pupusas are awesome. I wanted to eat 5! Perfect balance between soft and crispy. Ask for extra cabbage if you are a fan. I wanted more because it is so good. This cafe is so friendly and I felt like family. Go there NOW!

This is hands-down my favorite local spot. I’ve come here with my family for breakfast, for lunch on the go, and even for a dinner date—and it never disappoints. The staff is attentive and consistent, the food is flavorful and beautifully presented, and the portions are generous for the price. The owner is kind and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Every visit, my family and I leave full and happy!

We came here on our unit lunch/co workers birthday lunch and it was fantastic!! Service was on point, food was amazing and fresh and they even brought out a birthday treat for our coworker. I’ve seen the previous comments about food taking long. For one there are signs stating this is not a fast food restaurant, everything is made fresh. We were pleasantly surprised (after being told the food may take a bit) that the food was out fairly quickly for a party of 6 and was amazing. We will definitely be back!

My wife an I heard about this new restaurant and we wanted to try it. I loved it! Their pupusas are the best we have tasted in the Bay Area. They remined us of our travel to El Salvador. The Yucca with Chicharron was also delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Went to visit there was only 2 family’s in the restaurant all where eating and one almost done went with my family took -10 min to bring the waters the server kept giving the other table there things instead of attending us.
When the server attend us we asked what they had and went to check and took forever to do that because he kept attending the other table that already had there food. And the proceed to tell us that they didn’t have pupusas and other food items basically ran out of everything so we couldn’t even try the food. I would suggest getting more staff and if you come expect a long wait

Went on a Thursday morning around 11. My husband and I both had the Huevos Rancheros. We both enjoyed our meal very much and look forward to coming back to try the Pupusas. Our server was very friendly and I also loved my fresh lemon water.

My friend and me were craving for Salvadorian food. This place has authentic home made food. We had tamales, pupusas, yuca con chicarròn, and orchata. Very delicious. And it’s next to the barbershop.
