Claudine’s in Porter Ranch is the kind of place that quietly earns your trust. The space feels casual and friendly. I came back here at least three times for brunch.

I ordered the burger, the Golden Beet & Citrus Salad, and the soup of the day. Each dish felt thoughtfully put together.

The burger was juicy and well-seasoned, with toppings that complemented rather than overwhelmed it. The bun tasted like it was made in-house or the chef added a touch of love. For the price, the burger felt solid: straightforward, satisfying, and clearly a step above a basic café burger.

Golden Beet & Citrus Salad was bright and refreshing, with sweet, earthy beets balanced by tart citrus and fresh greens. It tasted intentional and well-composed, and the portion and quality matched the price nicely.

Clam Chowder with Salmon was comforting and flavorful. The salmon added rich flavor to the classic clam base. And for what it costs ($3.95), it is hard not to order again.

Matcha latte was totally off the mark as it was dosed with a lot of sugar. That much sugar defeats the health benefits of drinking matcha tea imo. I would have went to Starbucks if I wanted sweet matcha. I would never order matcha here again.

I’ve enjoyed Claudine’s for both in-restaurant dining and pickup catering in the past, but today we used their full catering service for an elevated brunch party for 30 — and I was blown away.

They arrived with every platter, all the serving tools, beautiful table décor, and a team of servers who made the entire event seamless and truly enjoyable. I didn’t have to lift a finger.

For our 11am brunch we ordered the breakfast burritos, tres leches French toast, two quiches, and a large sandwich platter with sandwiches, pesto pasta salad, and cabbage salad, plus several six-packs of sweet treats for dessert. It ended up being the perfect amount of food — we barely had leftovers — and I would order every dish again. Everything tasted fantastic.

The food alone is worth the price, but don’t overlook the service — it takes the experience to another level for any event.

First time trying Claudine in Porter Ranch while we were out shopping, and it was a great experience. It’s a casual café with outdoor seating, perfect if you want something relaxed and easy.

You sit down, order at the front, and they bring the food to your table — not full service, but very smooth and efficient. They offer breakfast, brunch, and lunch options. We came for lunch this time, but we’re already planning to come back to try breakfast and brunch.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and they were very accommodating with sitting outside since we had our baby and a stroller, which we really appreciated. Food came out quickly and was delicious.

My husband had the Italian sandwich and loved it. I had the kids’ chicken bites, which came with potato wedges — simple, fresh, and surprisingly satisfying.

Overall, great food, fast service, family-friendly, and a perfect casual spot while shopping. We’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Ordered a couple of pastries to-go since we just had our lunch elsewhere, might have to come back here next time for their food.

The rice crispies really good, it is a treat for sure. It tastes like milk with a marshmallow-y crunchy texture which makes it satisfying to eat. We enjoyed the brownie too.

Plenty of parking.

So happy Porter Ranch finally has a new spot (especially for breakfast), which feels like a small miracle around here. Came in with family for some drinks and pastries, and honestly everything in the case looked tempting. We ended up trying a scone, the pumpkin coffee cake (pretty sure that’s what it was), and the banana bread, which was my personal favorite. Our lattes were great too.

The place is cozy, clean, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier. I’m excited to come back and actually try the full menu next time.

Only downside: the music was really loud. We found ourselves raising our voices just to talk, and even after asking if they could lower it, it didn’t seem to change. A small thing, but it definitely affects the comfort level. Overall though, a sweet new addition to the neighborhood, and I’m rooting for them!

Food was good, but served cold. A bit on the pricey side.

Brisket Breakfast Burrito – 5/10 taste was good but burrito was lukewarm (even though plate was hot)
Omelette – 10/10 high quality eggs and ingredients. Hashbrowns on the side were crispy.
Malted Milk Pancake – 12/10 amazing pancake
Vanilla Oat Milk Latte – 10/10 good coffee flavor and perfect amount of sweetness

Claudine Kitchen is a newer addition to Porter Ranch and opened about two months ago. It has quickly become a popular spot, and good news, they serve breakfast all day long. I came around 12 p.m. on a weekend and had to wait about 30 minutes for a table. Thankfully, I was given a menu while waiting in line, so I was ready to order by the time it was my turn.

Once you get a table, you place your order at the counter and the food is brought directly to you, which was a plus. I also ordered some baked goods to take home. The cinnamon coffee cake muffin was my favorite.

They offer plenty of gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options, so there is something for everyone.

I had a disappointing experience during my recent visit. When I placed my order, the csshier woman taking it seemed distracted—smiling to herself and looking elsewhere instead of paying attention. Later, when I checked the receipt, I saw that she had entered hash browns instead of the salad I ordered. I cannot eat hash browns for health reasons, which is why I specifically ordered a salad.

Although the cook kindly corrected my order when I brought it up, the initial mistake and the cashier’s inattentive attitude left me feeling upset. It felt dismissive and, frankly, I couldn’t help but feel like I was treated differently—possibly because of my race. I hope the staff will be more respectful and attentive in the future.

ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! I had the salmon bowl and it was exquisite. I’ll be one of my to go dishes at this place. It’s delicious, healthy, fun to have different veggies. The Chef really nailed it with the sauce. Also, I had a vanilla latte with almond milk which was delicious and well made not overly sweet like other places. All the deserts look Amazing! I had the blondie, it is a great combination of pastry meets great snack and it’s really filling too. I like that they cut it in a big portion. Parking is super easy and free around the plaza. They have an outdoor and indoors area. I love the design and atmosphere of the restaurant. It’s feels so cozy. Love the chairs! Very stylish. The staff is friendly. You have to try this place! It’s my new ‘Cheers’!

They’ve only been open for about 2 months and I wanted to give it a try since it had some good reviews.

The Good: the location is prime, there’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I had the Salmon Miso Bowl. It was good but nothing too special.

The Bad: This is NOT a dine in restaurant, it’s an order at the cashier and a food runner will bring you your food. That’s the only two times you speak with one of their employees. I don’t know if the setup is a self service type of setup or if their waiters/customer service is nonexistent. You have to get up and refill your own waters which is annoying to keep getting up mid conversation. They also have a sign saying to limit your stay to 90min during peak hours which I understand, but definitely not my vibe.
