I am genuinely surprised by the number of positive reviews this place has received, because our experience was quite disappointing.
To begin with, the service was very slow. For the first 20 minutes after we were seated, no one came to check on us or even ask for our order. It set the tone for the rest of the evening and made us feel ignored.
The food did not meet expectations either. The chhole bhature was excessively oily, to the point that it overpowered the dish. The paneer lababdar was disappointing as well, with only four small pieces of paneer and an overwhelming amount of red chilli that masked any real flavor. The dal makhni had a watery consistency and tasted as if it had been reheated from frozen rather than freshly prepared.
The overall atmosphere was average at best, nothing special or memorable. Unfortunately, the combination of slow service, underwhelming food, and lackluster ambiance made this a place I would not return to or recommend to others.
I truly hope they take feedback seriously and improve, but based on this visit, it was not a great experience.

Food was delicious, we tried Palak Paneer, Chicken Tikka Masala, with Garlic Naan(Naan is probably one of the best I have had in a long time – I find most restaurants will have it too thick edges and not baked properly-most) and plain rice. Good portion size and reasonably priced. It was bit cold in the building, I know it was cold outside but they should be able to keep it comfortably warm for the customers. Service was good as well. I would recommend this place and probably go back to try something different.

The chefs are visible which is nice. Makes you feel like there is nothing to hide – it was nice to be able to see the naan being made in real time.

For someone that doesn’t like loud spaces or a hectic setting when dining, Classic Indian is a lovely restaurant to go and dine. The space is clean, quiet, the staff are friendly.

I like that the server doesn’t rush us or constantly asks how the food is while we’re eating. There’s an order of which food is served and they always ask for preference of which dishes you’d like to be served first appys, mains etc.

Ordered soup and Manchuria where soup was okay, but the Manchuria was undercooked and tasteless. Left it untouched, yet still got charged even after complaining. Disappointing experience.

We really enjoyed our lunch here. They have a nice lunch special which gives you a main dish, rice and naan. We tried the butter chicken and the goat curry. The butter chicken was one of the best I’ve had. I asked for medium and it had a tiny bit of heat and the sauce wasn’t too watery. The chicken tasted really good as well. The goat curry was also quite nice. We did spicy for this one and it definitely had a bit of a kick but if you enjoy spicy it definitely wasn’t over the top hot. The quality of the meat was also really good.
We did garlic naan which is a dollar more but totally worth it since you could actually taste the garlic unlike many other places. I wish the naan wasn’t so crispy but that’s my personal preference.
Overall great meal and good service so would definitely go back when in the area.

Food is really good. I often go to restaurants for lunch but it’s the first time I plan to come again just after two bites. Tandoori chicken is the best I have ever had. The smell (like charcoal smell) is really good and the seasoning is perfect (Not too strong/too salty). Chicken is juicy. Lamb combo tastes good and naan bread is so delicious. (It is crispy but the inside is soft.) I can’t wait to come again to try other dishes.
