I hadn’t been there for several years, but it was a good return. We had a small group, gathering for lunch. Good service, individual checks. Everyone was pleased with their order, and most needed take-home boxes. My surprise was their low-carb pizza, made on a large tortilla. This is the first time I’ve seen this option, which helps control my A1C levels.

We came in the afternoon on a weekday for a quick drink and a snack, the Apple margarita was great and the spinach dip appetizer was amazing. Our waitress was great too, I’m sorry I forgot her name. There are lots of TVs with sports on, and there is Club Keno and pull tabs here. I will definitely be back for a full meal here because the menu looked really good.

Three visits in and zero regrets. The gyro quesadilla has been a repeat order for good reason, but the Greek pizza stole the show on my last visit—somehow it made me hungrier with every bite. Great service, great energy, and a vibe that makes you want to stay longer than planned.

Love this little watering hole. The staff and food are great. Great vibe and atmosphere. Goto when I am in the Clarkston area. The frozen cocktail machines remind me of Joe Louis Area the Cup years. The pricing is affordable and the service was awesome. The locals were great to talk sports and local happenings.

Went in for a couple drinks for hubby’s Bday on a Tuesday night. Spent $80+, bought a couple drinks for acquaintances we were sitting next to at bar. We were buzzed, yes, and there was only about 7 people total in the establishment.
I stand up from my bar seat and start to dance right near my seat, just having fun with my husband, laughing.
Not long after i danced a little, the bar tender comes over and tells us her manager is cutting us off and we can’t be served anymore.
I was astonished and irritated. All i did was dance a little, right by my bar seat, laughing with my husband on his birthday.
I didnt know you couldn’t groove a little at Clarkston Tap!
I walked out of the bar, and my husband asked the manager, Moe, why this happened. She said it was because of my dancing.
HAHA what?!?! So pathetic.
Moral of the story: its over priced $$, the vibes are bad, the people are never very friendly, and the manager Moe is a buzz kill for no good reason!

I’m not one to review poorly about an establishment based on my visit but I recently had an encounter that made me want to talk about my experience. I have been to the Clarkston Tap many times and have become a regular at this point.
Last night I decided to cash out on a $10 pull tab ticket with our server that got drinks for our table. A couple hours passed while my friends and I were hanging out at the same table and I still hadn’t gotten my money. When I left I forgot to ask about my $10.
I called the next day to ask if the ticket was in a drawer or locked somewhere and was told by the woman who picked up the phone that usually if the server doesn’t see the customer or if they notice that they’re gone, they usually pocket the money.
To me it’s not about the $10, it’s more about the principal of taking things that aren’t yours. Hopefully the person who took the money used it for something they deemed a necessity.
Overall, this was just one bad experience compared to many other good times I have had here.

My husband and I can there on Saturday Jan 31 around 5:00. Came in blond women took our drink orders. I ask her how she was doing , she ignores me! Bring our drinks and menus to us and we don’t see her after that. Never came back to take the order. My husband waved over another hostess, placed our order GOT FOOD POISONING from the fish I ordered, and my husband got a burger with a old bun that fell apart, I should say crumpled
