Had dinner with my brother and sister-in laws at CJ’s on Saturday afternoon shortly after they opened. Our waitress Mikaela greeted and welcomed us. She was friendly, courteous, and very efficient.

Went for dinner with a friend. Salads and drinks were good. We both got entrees and were unhappy…hers was burnt, mine was just a mess with a pound of cheese on top. Spoke with the manager, he offered to put our names in the book for a credit…I said we probably wouldn’t be back so that wouldn’t help. He apologized and said he’d take care of it. Fair enough, I appreciated the understanding. We get the bill and the manager has taken off $10…not even half of one of the entrees which were both over $25. I would understand if either had taken more than 2 bites or asked for a box to take it home, nope. They took our full plates back and charged us over $50 for 2 side salads and 2 sodas. Incredibly disappointed and frustrated as we left hungry and still had to find somewhere for dinner.

Food was pretty average, bruschetta was soggy and the processed cheese used on it was vile. Also please teach your servers not to correct my pronunciation of Bruschetta when I was right and she was wrong. Other than that staff attentive enough although some running about and others loitering looking bored?

We used to come here when it was Madison’s (was our fave), but when they went public about their discrimination to the LGBTQ community, we stopped. Now it is new owners that are accepting of all, and they have taken over the former’s recipes as well. It was excellent! The Italian creamy salad dressing is divine, slightly sweet and goes great on their combination salad. We had a group so had multiple pasta dishes, including rigatoni carbonara (creamy, cheesy, tons of bacon), pasta con broccoli (just the right blend of white sauce with dash of red, creamy and delish, could have ha d bit more broccoliand mushrooms), cavatelli (creamy, cheesy, garlicky) and Mac & cheese (cheesy in a different way but excellent). Service was friendly and attentive. Food was served piping hot and fairly quickly. Definitely will be back!

This place has it all. I was amazed by all the menu options! My food was delicious and our service was excellent as well. The atmosphere is perfect for being with family and friends. I will definitely be making CJ’s Restaurant & Bar one of my regular stops.
