I was traveling in the Fort Myers area with a few friends and we stopped in to the City Tavern for some food and drinks. The food was genuinely good, the prices were fair, and there were plenty of options so everyone in our group found something they liked. The atmosphere is super relaxed fun, casual, and the kind of place where you can easily hang out with friends or catch a game with the locals without feeling rushed.
Jeremy was awesome. He stopped by a few times just to make sure we were good, and you could tell he actually cared—not just doing the usual check-in. Little things like that made the night feel even better. Customer service is always important to me, so this stood out!
If you’re in the downtown area, whether you live nearby or you’re just passing through, I’d definitely say give City Tavern a try. It’s a solid spot.

City Tavern honestly deserves to be shut down by the board of health. I simply asked if I could get some air, due to the stench and overall lack of airflow in this place, and the People working there instead threw out my entire drink which I had just paid for and was not reimbursed for, and kicked me out! Totally unacceptable and uncalled for. Be sure to not go to this place, and if you do, do not order a drink or they will throw it out. So many other fun places in Downtown Fort Myers, this place is not worth it.

Batista’s were very nice. Recommend if you’re also celebrating for your 21st birthday. Order “The Cubano” if you’re getting a sandwich. Best food and drinks on top of that.

Came here for the first time wanted to enjoy the late night with some friends ordered at the bar and the bartender was not nice at all. She brings me the drinks and I was still needing to order more and she just walked off and started talking to a gentleman in the corner of the bar, hitting on him. The second bartender was super sweet super nice. I will for sure not come here again..

I’ve only been here twice but I absolutely love it. The atmosphere, drinks and the workers are absolutely amazing. I recommend going in on a Sunday and having Katie as your bartender. She is the best and most helpful bartender i’ve had. Plus she gives the best drink recommendations if you don’t know what you want or want to try something new (I got an espresso martini with tequila instead of vodka and it was delicious!). Definitely stop in as soon as you can. I promise you won’t regret it.

Fun place in downtown Ft Meyers for a drink, some tasty food and a fun atmosphere. Only place we could find on 9:30 on a Tuesday that would be open for a few hours. Drinks were good, food was good and the bartenders were very friendly. I’ll go back next time I’m in town

Nothing like going out and being ripped out of the bar after having 2 drinks by security. I was not even intoxicated, dancing with my wife, and they manhandled me out of the establishment with no warning. You could have just asked me to leave. You guys should be ashamed for the way I was treated.

Ashley is my go to Bartender, she always knows what I want and is always fast and easy going .
I also had a great experience with Perry the General manager , he was very friendly and easy going as well .
For food I love to have the BBQ pork flatbread .if you’re in town stop at city and grab a jello and flat bread . You want regret it .
