Comfy spot with HUGE sandwiches. Fresh and kind service. Was coming here for lunch while reporting for jury duty. Even though they had tons of orders when I walked in, the woman talked to me the whole time and made me feel welcomed. Great sammy too – will be coming back!

The two women working were friendly and efficient. The prep area was clean and I caught views of the green fresh lettuce and toppings. Their attention to food safety and cleanliness was noted. This backs up their excellent restaurant inspection ratings.
The sandwich was delicious. The meat quantity was generous and of good quality. The vegetables were fresh and a sizeable portion. The bread was fresh and also superb.
The two women working were so genuine and made you feel welcome. They elevate an excellent sandwich to a real customer focused experience. I’ll be back and look forward to trying other sandwiches in the future.

this was one of THE best sandwiches I’ve ever had!!! I went for the first time yesterday and had the best experience, the shop has a really adorable small town feel inside and the two ladies working were extremely sweet and had amazing customer service! I ordered the turkey and provolone and added onion and cranberry sauce and it was absolutely heavenly!! They packed so much meat in there and somehow kept the sandwich super moist and easy to eat 🙂 bonus points for having diet Dr Pepper in the fountain machine!! I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!!

Please understand, I don’t wish to be negative. I’ll start by saying that the food is very good. The burger legitimately tasted like the best backyard burger. But, I won’t be back. I’ve eaten there maybe 4 times over the last couple years, and every single time the impression I get from the kitchen is that the regular cook walked out mid-shift and left them high and dry. The lady doing the food preparation is consistently complaining and angry at something and it fills the dining room atmosphere. It takes a looong time for the food to eventually come out. And they charge like $25 for a smallish burger with a bag of chips and a drink! Sorry, I wouldn’t even normally say anything but I genuinely wish them to know what it’s like and why I won’t return.

As someone who can put back a lot of food in one sitting, the half sandwiches here are plenty and well worth the price, though I wish it had come with chips or something as a side. This was an unassuming meal that was tasty and filling!

City Sandwich Company sandwiches are awesome. Being a huge fan of New York pastrami and corned beef sandwiches, I thoroughly enjoy City Sandwich Company sandwiches. I typically order the #9 (Pastrami, Onion, Mustard and Provolone on Rye bread). It’s fabulous. She is generous with the meat and the bread is soft and delicious.
Great place for lunch, or whenever you want fantastic sandwich. You can dine in or take-out. Plenty of street parking. You may have to pay for parking during business hours.

We were super impressed with the service here! We were the first customers on a Wednesday morning, and the poor lady had a huge order she had been working on, all alone, since 5am! She was flustered, but sooooo sweet and kind. The sandwiches were simple, but so yummy! And huge! The bread was delicious, and the meat and veggies were fresh! We will definitely be going back! It’s like one of those those things that are too obvious, like the first choice in a box of chocolates or a low hanging fruit, I’ve been passing City Sandwich for years and it just never occurred to me the bewildering wonders that It contained.
And be warned, you might want to pause outside and ponder the menu a moment, it is a wonder of sandwich possibilities. As I approached the head of the line, a little fearful I would falter in my indecision and cause an embarrassing logjam I was cheerfully greeted and skillfully guided through some quick life options, I love being called honey. I got this surprising Sammy with turkey and cream cheese and cranberry on swirl dark rye with piping hot tomato soup and it was all to die for.
I could see the owner moving in the kitchen like a time lapse movie putting sandwiches together and as a small business owner myself, she has my admiration! That woman is a pro!
The ambience is fun. The clientele is obviously a strong balance of regulars who already know exactly what they want and are called either by name or of course by endearment (which I prefer).
It’s another one of those places that you stumble into that turn out to be bigger on the inside than they are on the outside. Like a sandwich Tardis, only it’s not because of a time warp, it’s because of heart. It’s bigger inside because there’s a lot of heart in there along with so many sandwiches.

I ordered the number 15 ,the turkey,ham,bacon sandwich ….just one because of the reviews which stressed the size of City Sandwich Company’s sandwiches. They were not exaggerating!!!!
I split the number 15…. delicious!! And piled high with the meats. I think they could have used more lettuce and tomato but it definitely is not a deal breaker.
Service was good
Prices reasonable.
Go early because after 12 noon, there is a line. Better yet…. pre-order!
