I originally considered this place because I travel a lot and I like the reviews and pictures people left with their review. I did an uber eats I did not get anywhere close. It was as if a child prepared my breakfast and through it together. Extremely disappointed in taste and presentation. My omelette was not an omelette at all, my potatoes were half done onions were terrible. Horrible experience. I’m not sure if it’s because I did an ubereats instead of dine in but for me and what i received, it’s a NO!

Amazing diner just off of 83. The server was very accommodating to are party of six that had two young children. Pancakes and spinach pie were excellent and everything arrived in a timely manner. Great serves and great food! We will be back!

When I go to a new restaurant I usually try to have breakfast first which gives me an idea of the operation, the quality of the food, attention to detail, and cleanliness. This was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had although it was just your standard bacon, eggs, and french toast, but everything was perfect especially the crispy bacon.

What can I say without sounding like I work here? This Diner is amazing. We walked in and were greeted by Tracy (our waitress) and treated like family. The location was fairly easy to get to off the highway, if traveling through. The Diner was warm, spacious and welcoming. We were attended to and served in a respectful time. The food was well cooked and seasoned. I definitely will return to City Line Diner the next time traveling through this area. Thank you Tracy for such a wonderful experience.

This has become my favorite first stop of the morning while working a short time here in Harrisburg. The atmosphere is nice (love the background music), the service is great, and the food is THE BEST!! They offer a great variety of omelettes and other egg dishes, oh and they serve very good coffee. This morning I had the City Line Omelette – delicious. Manager Steven is on top of things!

They have an extensive breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu, including some Greek choices like spinach pie and Baklava.
Tonight, I chose a Burger melt with a tossed salad instead of French fries, but I did order baklava to take home for dessert.

Fast & Friendly service. I had the Sausage Gravy & Biscuits w/ home fries and my friend had the corn beef hash, eggs & home fries. The home fries were crispy just the way we like. My sausage gravy was yummy and the biscuits were moist and tasty. I didn’t have room for the baklava. We will definitely have to go back.
