Great spot , best in oakcliff so far !
Stopped by on my way home with the wife after a long work day. Walked in and we were greeted by an older lady. You could tell they were busy.
She took our order that was 2 orders of orange chicken special with rice , crab ragions and egg rolls. With canned drinks , (they only have bottle or canned drinks)
15 minutes later our food was ready and you can tell its made fresh and not just under a heat lamp.
We had our first bite and immediately a smile followed. Did we find the best Chinese food spot in oakcliff? I belive so!
The orange chicken was very good the rice did not have any veggies but was fried. The noodles my wife mentioned was very good.
Our sides , crab ragions were very tasty and full of imitation crab and creme cheese. Egg rolls were very good also. They have sweet and sour ,duck sauce soy sauce ect also.
The serving size was good enough to feed 2 people. We had left overs and I ate them for lunch the following day. Heating it up in the microwave and the food was still good.
Their menu was very big (see pictures)
We will 100% be coming back

Fast, delicious & friendly service.
Drinks are in cans or plastic bottles.
Plenty of room, with 9 tables. 3 tables are for large parties. Will definitely be back. Probably the best Chinese food place in South Dallas

I have been here several times for lunch and can honestly say that I have never been disappointed. The value in their dishes compared to cost is unheard of in Oak Cliff. I highly recommend them, but if eating alone, just ordered the regular size plate. You can eat from that two or three times.

The food was good! We had the Mongolian beef, hunan beef, chicken lo mein, egg rolls, and egg drop soup. Everything was great! The portion sizes were generous. We dined in as a party of 4 and definitely could have gotten away with just 2 dishes instead of 3 as we had so much leftover. We’ll definitely be going back.

I hate leaving bad reviews but very disappointed with the food. The hot & sour soup was the best thing I got although it didn’t taste like the typical h&s soup, it tasted like just soy sauce & some sugar, I ordered Shrimp and Lobster Sauce and got something completely different with a dark sauce and the s/s Shrimp was mostly breading and not enough sweet & sour sauce so it was dry. Noodles had no taste. Not worth what I paid for

The food was soo good and they give you very large portions. My order was a medium. I can’t even image what a large looks like.

I frequented a Chinese restaurant in Wynnewood Village (China Village) for almost 30 years, until they unfortunately closed their doors several years ago. It’s been hard to find a good Chinese restaurant in Oak Cliff. Earlier this year I found a “gem”….It is called, City Kitchen on Hampton (across from Tom Thumb). My favorite dish is Hunan Shrimp. The shrimps are large flavorful and cooked to perfection… the dish is absolutely delicious!!! It is loaded with veggies and you can choose your spice level. I like a little heat, so I elevate the spice level. I order from the “All day menu” and I can easily make two meals of it. The great thing is… they are opened on holidays… including Thanksgiving. They also deliver within a 3 mile radius. The prices are reasonable and they also have a lunch menu from 11-3 pm. Enjoy

Lady working the counter is very accommodating and friendly. I had only had their wonton soup before and I’m obsessed with it and I had their combination fried rice which I liked a lot as well. Today I had their hot and sour soup, my only reference was having hot and sour soup at the Hong Kong Garden on Hampton when I was a kid and I did not care for it, but City Kitchen’s is sooo good I loved it. I also had their combination lo mein and their noodles have more flavor than other places – I think they use a red wine sauce cause they look and taste like another place that I like the lo mein from.

The best I’ve had in Dallas. They were open on Thanksgiving, and I got everything on menu. Seafood combination, orange chicken, pepper steak, lo mein, dumplings, crab ragoons. All fresh and amazing. They use real seafood, and have amazing service. Highly recommend!
