We really wanted to like this place… its close, it looks really nice, its fresh, well decorated and very clean.
But there was a lot of issues.
I don’t pretend to know everything about bars… but… I have lots of experience… I ran bars and nightclubs in London and Ireland, me and my brother turned dive rundown bars into profitable bars.
We got wrong orders, wrong dressing for a salad…and one entre at least 7 minutes before the other.
The food was just ok… nothing great, nothing terrible… I would guess liquid fire on the meat? Please correct me if I am wrong.
Ordered a salad that came with meat bacon eggs… I asked for all 3 to be excluded which they were, but nothing was substituted, which made the salad look very bland.
Then the dressing was forgotten.
The other salad came with the wrong dressing.
The staff were really friendly and apologetic, which got the place 3 stars… I am hoping this is teething problems as a new owner just took over… but they are issues that need to be addressed before its too late.
They need experience there, and they ate lacking that, the staff do their best, but seem young and lacking any good leadership.
Long winded I know… I just want this place to get better… because it’s a cool place.
PS… waaaay too much salt in the Salted Caramel

Had green chili fries and had meat but the meat chili and cheese were refrigerated cold. Had the blackened shrimp tacos but the problem with these is it only had 2 little shrimp per taco and everything else was filler. And finally also had 1/2 chicken which comes with mashed potatoes. It was mediocre at best. For $33 I expected great flavor but that’s just me. Just not worth the $64. Food presentation was nice.

Service was great! I had the Citrus Grilled Chicken and it was delicious. I highly recommended it. My husband had the Long Boarder Burger. It was okay nothing out of the ordinary. The environment is very lounge like, which is a plus for us. We will definitely return.

The food was delicious! Honestly it was and the coffee was good too. The 4 stars is because we weren’t sure if it was open though. We had to step inside and ask…and it was open. We were the only customers the entire time we were there. I wish more people would visit this restaurant. The food is a 5 star!

This last weekend I took my mom on a mother – son date of downtown Covina. This establishment was actually our unintentional third and final stop of the evening as the venue I normally enjoy a nightcap at was booked for the night. As this place was near were we parked we thought why not give em a shot. We came in and it was a very busy Friday night, however we were promptly seated in a booth. Truth be told I had only intended to enjoy a nightcap to end our evening but we ended up enjoying desert as well. Firstly, as to our drinks. My mother enjoyed their delicious watermelon crawl, and I had a hankering for a white Russian. The server we were fortunate to have was professional and on point. As stated before we ended up enjoying desert which was their take on a warm mixed berry pie that didn’t disappoint. All in all a enjoyable place to satisfy our evening with no real complaints. I do believe ill return to try their other exclusive cocktails.

Good restaurant. We tried the nachos and brisket sandwiche. Make sure you reserve in advance when they have DJ events, whether it’s in the restaurant or outside patio. Cool place.
