Today, Thursday January 29th, I walked in at 14:48 and the woman told me they were closed for lunch at 3:00 p.m.

I told her I was 12 minutes early and wouldn’t take long but, she said they ‘closed for restaurant dining’ at 2:30 and I can only take takeout – that was a little disappointing but I told her okay if that’s there rules. I ordered the Massaman Curry and took it home, warmed it up, and thoroughly enjoyed it, although, it wasn’t filled to the top of the container so,they could have easily gotten another 3 or 4oz in there(I felt somewhat shorted). Though it was very good, I felt I definitely would’ve received more food if I was eating-in instead of take-out, which, I didn’t prefer to begin with.
This was my second visit there.

Was looking for a good Thai restaurant since moving from Denver to Roanoke a few months ago. I’ve had take out from here a few times and this place always hits just right. They are so nice and kind here too. I usually get Massaman and Pad Thai and it’s always comfort food level delicious. I just want to show my appreciation to this restaurant in this review.

An enjoyable and quaint place to eat if you like authentic food and a cozy atmosphere. Our food has always been good when we came and it comes out fast. It is small, so if their busy you may have difficulty finding a spot if you have a group, but otherwise we’ve always had a seat. (3 people) There are multiple choices on the menu for drinks and food so you shouldn’t have an issue finding something. They have a cart int the front of the restaurant where you can get your sauces, extra napkins, chopsticks, etc, so keep that in mind if it’s your first time going. Top recommendation is the hot pot, Fried Taro, or Thai tea. The one downside would be that occasionally the hours are not what is advertised. We have gone at times and the place is closed when it was supposed to be open. There was typically a notification as to why however. Pictures: Chicken Hot Pot (large) Chicken Satay, Angel Chicken, Pad Mee, Steamed Dumplings, Regular Thai Tea, Thai Green Tea

My husband and I come here for a first time. We had Thai beef salad, Lab Chicken, and Somtum (papaya salad). I like the papaya salad and the beef salad. The Thai ice tea is good also. The owners are very nice and friendly. It’s a small restaurant but the food is good and value for the money.

Easy to see why this place is in lists like “15 Hole in the Wall Spots”

Unassuming from the street, warm and inviting inside, incredibly friendly owners, and really tasty food. We had excellent spring rolls and flavorful pad ka paow.

Tip for those who like a little spice – go with mild and get some sauce on the side because medium has some heat (was perfect for me though!)

Looking forward to trying more dishes here soon

Truly a hidden gem. This is definitely a hole in the wall spot that you WANT to try! VERY authentic and packed full of flavor. This spot has a huge menu with tons of authentic dishes to try. I’m definitely going back to try more. Really inexpensive for a good amount of food on your plate. Highly recommend.

Mom-n-pop shop. I think the son is the greeter/server.
AWESOME food! Great, friendly service! Google maps took me right to it. I recommend this place to everybody that asks me about Thai food. It is so good. I’ve heard nothing but positives from the people that I know have gone. Even received a couple “thank you’s” from people that have taken the recommendation. If you have a chance to go, you definitely need to try this place!

2yrs later. Food still bangin’! Highly recommend this place!
