The waitress was very helpful. She was determined to make my stay pleasant. The food was good, and very well priced. You get plenty for your money. It’s tucked away in a strip mall, so I didn’t even know it was there. My wife found it while I got a haircut. I joined her afterwards. It was worth the visit.

Sadly, I’m leaving a not so pleasant review. My friend and I came to visit our first time and was seating quickly. Our order was taken and we sat there for 30mins. A different waitress came by and asked if we had placed our order. We said yes, 30min ago and we need to leave. She said our other waitress had left because of pain and she just came in. She found our order which was wrong, missing items and cold from sitting there. Not sure of their protocol but really? Also, there were older gentlemen vaping at their seats. I say, try at your our risk. Maybe it was just a fluke but I won’t be back.

The service and food were wonderful. My hubby had the fried chicken with mashed potatoes, corn, roll and a salad. I had the French dip with steak fries. Our waitress was very nice and made sure we were happy with our food and made sure we didn’t run out of water. Our entire bill was around $22.00. While other restaurants seem to be raising their prices too high, City Cafe is not! New favorite eating place!

I ate with a friend at this location and we both had the Walleye special that comes with a side. I picked mashed potatoes with white gravy. I got two huge pieces of delicious fish and ate every bit of it. My friend had enough left for another meal. I just was super hungry and it tasted so good I gobbled it down. The tarter sauces was yummy too. The server was great The booth was really comfortable. Nice place! You can have breakfast anytime of day. It’s located right by the Price Cutter too.
