We stopped here on the way from the beach back to the piedmont for breakfast. No complaints anywhere whatsoever. Good food, service, and price. And nothing needed seasoning – for instance, the grits were already buttered and salted perfectly. Outstanding.

The City Cafe is a superb diner, with the friendliest welcome and a wonderful atmosphere. Local regulars are greeted heartily as they come through the door, and visors like me are treated as new friends. The food is just great. Can’t recommend highly enough!

All the ladies in there are very nice! The food is always good! It’s definitely one of those places you sit down you talk to the people in the booth next to you the all talk to you. I highly suggest you stop in and see them!

Stoppes in for a quick breakfast while I was traveling. All the staff was so sweet and friendly! Delicious homemade food served up very quickly. Restaurant was clean and neat, and bonus the bathroom was spotless 😉 I will definitely stop by again!
