Great place to hangout with friends, and meet new people. Plenty to do here, with games like corn hole, basketball and pool, as well as plenty of seating if you just want to chill. The Monday night pool tournament is competitive, but the atmosphere is always friendly. Karaoke is on Thursday and Saturday, iirc. Bar staff and security are efficient and friendly, and the food options are plentiful, and always delicious! I highly recommend City Beach.

Came to watch the Eagles play and shoot a little pool. I had a really good time. The drinks were good and the staff was friendly. I will absolutely be back!

Went here on a whim with a friend. There’s designated parking on the side of the building, tho very limited. Expect the pat down and purse check. Music and crowd were mixed. Fairly crowded! However, for so many people being inside, with no real “direction” at the bar, we started a tab/ordered and were served really quickly each time we approached. Drinks were okay. The food? Bar food. There are games in the back and karaoke in the front. Pool, basketball, and I believe the game is called “Cornhole”? I felt safe the entire time, and there were no “incidents”. Also never a line for the restroom!! Win! Id return.

I took my young Kings out for a late night outing, didn’t have much in mine but to hang out and as a parent talk to them because kids tend to be out of our reach at times….just a little random thought for you. However, I wanted to try this place out because they had pool and what appeared to be arcade games. So we entered the restaurant and not knowing if we needed to be seated or seat ourselves. I didnt want to just take it upon myself and seat us so I waited at the door for about 5-10 mins watching the bar tender watch us. She NEVER even spoke to us when we entered. Ice been to places where its empty and people are at the bar BUT the bartender still takes the time to shout “hey welcome, find a seat where ever you like and someone will be with you”. NO, we didnt get that.
I had to walk over to the bar to ask “do we seat ourselves or someone seat us”. She then proceed to tell me “oh yall can seat at the bar where ever you like”. I ask her “are the booths not available”, thinking about the fact I 2 under age babies with me and its illegal to sit anyone at a bar that under age, anyone should know that ESPECIALLY a bartender. I immediately ask her as well, “how will the waiter or waitress know we need to be service if I just sit down” knowing I had to wait to long at the door and I didnt see not one waitress in sight.
Here’s the kicker! She tells me with a VERY snazzy tone” when you start by having a seat”!!!! I take my surveys to heart and although whom ever my be reading think I’m lying, I AM NOT! I tell the waitress what happens and how if my kids weren’t so hungry I would have walked out. It’s a too many restaurants, new or old that I can go to in Richmond where i do not have to step foot in a place that have people like her working there, too many places! Our waitress saved the day and even compensated with taking one of my appetizers off and apologizing for the bartender. Although I cant see myself going back I’m grateful to our waitress for her positive attitude. I ordered their crab burger with fries. It was worth the price as far as size goes but the sauce that comes with it wasnt to tasteful. My babies ordered thier bacon burger and they were happy, which is all that matter to me. Oh and thier Old Bay season chicken wings are AMAZING!

This is going to be an odd review.
We had bacon and cheese tots as an appetizer and they were fantastic.
I ordered the pastrami sandwich. The bottom slice of bread was soaked in grease. That’s not what I prefer. I ended up just eating the meat and cheese and skipping the bread.
My wife got the fish and chips. The batter wasn’t sticking to the chicken. She didn’t like it.
Now, the reason for the odd review. She got a diet Coke, I got a water. The drinks were gross. You could taste prior drinks in the cups. Then I got a lemonade and it was the same deal. They have plastic cups and I have to think they have absorbed flavors from past drinks.
I really like South Beach, their Southside restaurant but we will ship this one in the future.

First time checking this place out. They had a great live band called Garage Dreams playing and we very much enjoyed them. Pretty spacious place. Cool sofa area, lots of tables also watched some division baseball games. Lots of tv, game room in the back with a pool table. Definitely would come back, especially with that band!
