I ordered the 3 meat plate. Brisket, Texas sausage and smoked turkey. With green beans and baked beans. The atmosphere was nice and the service was good as well.
However, the Brisket and turkey were so dry and almost tasted the same. The Texas sausage was decent for a sausage . The star of the show was definitely the green beans and baked beans.

First time visit on 10/19 was great. So good I went back today 10/21 for the same exact sandwich which was disgusting to say the least. I got a pulled pork sandwich and the second half contained a large piece of fat and large piece of leathery meat making the second half not edible. Disappointing to say the least coming from 40 mins away to treat myself.

If you want good food do yourself a favor go to ray rays on miller . This place is honestly just ok . I don’t know if the goal was to bathe the chicken after cooking it or not but I’ve never had soggy Chicken until today . BBQ sauce meh take it or leave nothing spectacular about it . The dollar store has bullseye ( that’s better) .
Now the hush puppies oh hell yeah the best I have ever had .

This spot is such a gem. I’ve ordered Togo a few times? (Always comes perfect, and delicious) And made the effort to fully stop in today, between lunch and dinner, to miss any rushes? FIRST OF ALL… yes. To every single item I’ve ever tried. And that’s most of the menu, at this point.
Beautiful smoke rings and bark on the ribs and brisket, every single time. The smoked wings are insanity, tender and super flavorful. The tenders are top tier, perfectly cooked and seasoned. All the side options are worth a try, for sure. Never been disappointed by any of them. The Brisket Chili is super delicious, A phenomenal middle ground between barbecue and chili sauces, with tons of their brisket in it. I haven’t had hush puppies or corn pudding like that, since I visited my family in Mississippi.
Mark’s handmade Banana Pudding is a local treasure. Run, don’t walk to get some! And the peach cobbler is really something truly special. (Handmade real whipped cream…. yep, I know. And Yep, it is that good.) Both made totally from scratch, fresh daily. I couldn’t recommend either dessert, higher.
The employees are thoughtful, and beautifully kind, at this location. Super lucky that places like this are finding a home in my beloved hometown. I wish them nothing but success. Looking forward to my next visit.

The meat was well smoked and moist, I personally didn’t feel the need for any sauces with them. But, did get a few to try. My favorite being the sweet bbq sauce and their Carolina mustard sauce. The mustard sauce was perfect for the sausage. We will definitely have to stop again the next time we venture up from Indiana.

I ordered the Lolo’s Pulled Pork with a side of Mac n Cheese. I was pleasantly surprised at the bright flavor of the coleslaw on the sandwich. The pulled pork was very tender and had a decent flavor. The sandwich was stuffed to the brim with toppings, quite impressive for the low price. It also has a very soft bun, something I quite like in a sandwich. The side of macaroni has a slight crisp and an interesting blend of cheeses. I also got a drink, lemonade and unsweetened tea. Their lemonade has a delightful burst of sourness and their tea is quite good. The service was very quick, and I got my food within minutes. The food is always sooo good, you can tell it’s freshly made everyday. All of the meat and side options and variety are fantastic. You better order the Ribs early too because they sell out daily! (Pro tip)

Got pulled chicken and brisket 1 pound each with 2 baked potatoes. The brisket was so wet and fatty I threw it away. Disgusting to look at. And the chicken when we ordered online looked like regular chicken no sauce or anything. We get it and it is covered in a white sauce that made it inedible. Potatoes were okay. And the few bites I had of the brisket omg. Flavorless like nobody has ever heard of salt and pepper. Will probably not be coming back. Im so sad dickies closed.

I’m not in the area often and decided to try this since I’d driven past it a few times. Rachel was who took my order. She was great. I had two other people with me and none of us knew what we wanted. Rachel was patient and friendly. She had the answer to all our weird questions about what ingredients were in certain items. When we finally decided what we wanted she came and checked on us while cleaning up in the seating area. Great experience!
