Cashier was helpful & personable. We ordered the 2 meat sampler and the chicken leg & thigh. Very good. Mac & cheese was my fav for the sides. Looking forward to returning soon.

My husband had the pulled pork and said the flavor was good but it was dry. His Mac & cheese and greens were also dry. I had the pulled chicken and it was tasty. The place could use a good cleaning. The floor was extremely dirty and looked like it hadn’t been swept in a while. Also, it would be nice if there was a better selection of beer offered. The atmosphere is nice aside from it needing cleaned.

I go here all the time as soon as the chili comes back on the menu. I decided to get me and my employee lunch and I paid 18.00 for two bowl sizes and I got the cup size instead. It also had no brisket in it at all. I am not sure who is managing this place now or if they are managing what is being made at all. But this was very disappointing and makes we want to go to another location to get my chili. I try very hard to always support local, but local has to support us also by being consistent. This is not consistant.

We found this spot on Google while looking for a good place to grab some BBQ ribs during our visit to Dayton. The staff was super friendly, and the food was actually really good plus the prices were very reasonable.The reason I’m giving it 2 stars mainly because of how dirty the place was. Every single table was messy, the trash cans were overflowing to the point where people were just stacking trays and garbage on top, and even the bathroom trash was completely full. I get that they might’ve been slammed with orders, but no matter how good the food or service is, if the place looks like a dump, it’s hard to enjoy the experience. Cleanliness really needs to be a priority. I’d still recommend it for the food and prices, but they seriously need to step up their game when it comes to keeping the place clean if they want people to keep coming back.

I used the website when I placed my order. I did under guess, but there is a section if you want to sign up for rewards, which is ideal if you plan on eating here for a long time. You will open up two doors to get inside. Make your way to the right. The menu can be found high up, or they can hand you a paper menu. They take cash or credit card as payment. All the employees were helpful, and they all got along. The aroma of BBQ will make you want to order everything on the menu. They will have drinks at the end. I personally did enjoy sweet tea. There’s plenty of tables and chairs for large groups. I didn’t know this until I left, but they do have a drive-thru. It’s very convenient if you’re in a rush or you just want to eat at home. My experience was great and I would come back here.

Nate was PHENOMENAL, providing excellent service from start to finish. Absolutely bringing positive vibes and making sure everything was up to par.
Food was delicious! Sides were good sized portions, wish the meats were slightly more since they were so good as well.
Restaurant was clean with tables being wiped down shortly after patrons left. Music in the background, good aesthetic. No complaints.

We had a disappointing experience with our recent takeout order.
When we got home, we realized our daughter’s entire meal was missing. Two sides were also not included, there was no dipping sauce for the nachos, and no BBQ sauce was provided with the BBQ. That’s a significant portion of the order to be missing.
My wife drove back to the restaurant to have it corrected. Instead of simply apologizing and resolving it, staff stated they had “checked the bags” and suggested everything had been included. The conversation took place in front of other customers, which made the situation uncomfortable and embarrassing for her.
To their credit, they did provide the missing items. However, the way it was handled left a bad impression. Mistakes happen, but how they’re addressed matters. A straightforward apology and quick correction would have made a big difference.
Unfortunately, this experience fell short in both order accuracy and customer service.

The service here was super warm and welcoming. The atmosphere had a comforting, homey vibe that made us feel right at ease. The gentleman up front and the cashier were both incredibly nice and attentive. We ordered the ribs and greens—ribs were really good! The greens, however, had a bit too much vinegar for my taste, so I had to send mine back. That said, my mother actually enjoyed hers, so it may just come down to personal preference. Overall, a pretty good experience and I’d come back again.
