This place is always nice and clean and I love the aesthetic. Today was my first time ordering curbside online. If I’m ordering curbside, it is with the expectation that someone is going to bring me my order. The notifications were great though! Even acknowledged my arrival and said my order would be out shortly. I’m working on my patience, but as 10minutes go by I come to the clear conclusion that no one is coming. While everyone is inside enjoying each other’s company, I do see my orders on the counter waiting for me. Note to self: there is no curbside service. The only other downside is that my hush puppies that I had been craving were burnt (they had that burnt after taste)

Good quality bbq. I had a 2 meat and 2 sides lunch platter and it is a great value for the price but wish it had little more meat. You order at the counter and wait to hear your name which could be tough if you are having a conversation on the other end of the restaurant. The food was better than average however, I wish meat was a bit hotter in temperature.

First time visiting City BBQ and won’t be the last. The brisket didn’t need a knife to cut it and the Carolina BBQ sauce was delicious. We were helped by Pete the manager who was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Was a great meal with an affordable price! Will be back for sure.

I’ve gotten food from here twice once a few years ago. That time was awful. Just a greasy mess. But this time? 110% improvement. I could suggest this place to others. Only gripe with this 2nd visit was the place was almost dead. Just my family and two others who were already eating

Came here on a snowy evening and had dinner with my kids. Friendly staff and patrons. Unfortunately, they were out of the brisket; however , everything else was great! At closing, the staff let us stay so we could finish our card game. Great food, prices and atmosphere! Will be back

I’ve heard a lot of good things about this place, so I decided to try it for lunch. Got the 2 meats, 2 sides combo. The green beans and the toast were good! The collard greens were saltier than sardines and the brisket was as dry as the Sahara and as tough as jerky. The turkey had a weird metallic taste, like what you get when you buy prepackaged sandwich meat. Super disappointed as a whole. Spend the extra 10 dollars per plate and go to an actual barbecue joint. This place is like the burger king of BBQ

Me and my sister-in-law enjoyed everything except our meat was semi cold ☹️ that is truly the only complaint I have. The sides were hot. I didn’t take our food back up to the front because it was others around and I didnt want to draw any negative attention. We just said we will enjoy it at home. I popped mine in the toaster oven and it was on point! The staff was very friendly and the place was clean.
