Had a great experience picking up the food we had catered for my husband’s surprise birthday party here this past weekend and I was even a little early! Tasted delicious as always and we had just a little bit leftover. Everyone kept commenting on how tasty everything was!
Got the party pack – feeds 20-24 people. Pulled chicken, smoked sausage, jumbo salad with dressing and the mac n’ cheese. Thank you all for an awesome memory again! Highly recommend!

I ordered City BBQ for the fam today and to treat my mom bc she hasn’t been her best. She didn’t eat much but she said it was good! Everyone else said it was delicious! Thank you, bc the Motherload was a hit for Saturday dinner, chef’s kiss!!!

The experience has been terrible. The one and only time we have came into any City BBQ. The store is scheduled to close at 8pm and the staff attempted to close an hour early while patrons were dining and coming into place orders. They made no attempts to accommodate multiple patrons’ (not just mine) or express the closing or out of stock items in a professional or kind manner. After ordering (what we could), paying and waiting for our order – the young woman who took our order came up to us to tell us more of the items already paid for were no longer available. At that time we requested to get our money back and cancel the order and the reversal of the transaction took longer than ordering and waiting. Unfortunately- we will not be returning.

I recently moved back to Cbus and wanted to give City Barbeque a try since it’s been over 10 years since I’ve dine with the company.
The restaurant has been fully remodeled and is beautiful inside. Music was playing and it was definitely busy. I ordered a half slab of ribs and two sides (Mac and green beans). The ribs were tender and fell off the bone. However, that sides were basic and really didn’t have a lot of flavor.
I think brussels sprouts and baked beans would be a great addition to the old menu.
I asked to have a sample of the brisket to try. I was told they could not give me a sample because they were “low”.
The manager was a young black guy.
Since then I’ve gone to the restaurant three times and the last time I decided to ask about the sample. The cashier said “of course we provide samples” she was shocked that the parson told me no.
Consistency and transparency are important to me as a consumer and I hope the next time I don’t run into this.
Parking is plenty
The location is spacious with plenty of room for families, children, and those who use wheelchairs.

I don’t leave many reviews, but I absolutely have to for this city barbecue. I walked in to take my lunch break and was instantly greeted with a smile. Francis and his team are amazing! Everyone was super kind, and food was phenomenal as always!

Arrived at 6:25pm. Was 2 people ordering on front of us. Once they completed we thought we were ready to place order. Associate told us it would be 5 minutes until we could place our order. They said system for registers were rebooting. Actually they were trying to get caught up on there Doordash/Uber Eats and carry out orders. After 5 minutes we got to place our order. We had to wait about 5 minutes to get our food. Order was correct and food was delicious. Sweet was out at self service station, had to hsve an Associate fill it behind the counter.

I had forgotten how good this fast-food chain was. The two piece dark was delicious and falling off the bone. The Brisket Chili was delicious but left out the Jalapeno, Sour Creme, and onion/cheese. I ordered online. The sides were delicious: Greens, Green beans, Corn Stuffing, Cole Slaw.

Went through drive through. The associate taking my order was rude and got aggravated at me by selecting sides that I had no clue they were out of. Instead of apologizing and telling me to select something else, she just told me to pick another side with annoyance. This is not how you treat folks. I was very polite. No greeting when I arrived at the drive thru window, she acted like she was too busy laughing with her coworkers than doing her job.

They messed up my order AND I got charged for it! I ordered half slab and corn pudding. I added on a corn bread at the window. I was charged for the cornbread of course but they just gave me the ribs and cornbread! No corn pudding! I don’t understand how hard of an order was that! Very disappointed especially when I go to this particular store all the time

Ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich for lunch and it was delicious! Tender chicken with a great combination of spice, pickles and coleslaw. Will definitely order again!
