Such a cute little diner! My server Sarah was super nice & welcoming. The crab cake Benedict was hot & fresh & was made in house. The buttermilk pancakes were some of the best I’ve had! This diner is a bit out of the way for me but it’s so good & service is so friendly, I’ll definitely plan to return.

My blueberry pancakes from Citrus Diner were delicious! I was conflicted by the multiple different blueberry pancake choices but I just got the regular ones. So dotted with blueberries I thought they were chocolate chip. And I used only the compote, no syrup. Big as the plate I only ate half and I’m enjoying them again today reheated. Attentive friendly service from Nicole. Wish we lived nearby but will make a point to stop in whenever I’m in the area!

I have been coming here since I was a kid and I was really excited to come here for brunch. I got the tortilla soup and it was amazing as it was the first time I had it. However, the actual meal me and my partner ordered was not that great unfortunately. My partners omelet tasted like plastic and the potatoes were unseasoned. Our server was amazing though, thank you to Sarah for the help and servicing us!

Found this by accident and happy we did. Very bright and fun atmosphere with citrus fruit painted on the walls. It felt busy, but we never felt rushed.
The food was good. Egg sandwiches for 2 of us, the third went with the crab cake Benedict, which was not good. The crab tasted fishy so it was sent back. They were good about bring a new dish and apologized appropriately without making it a big deal.
Service was great! We left full, and satisfied.

Did Citrus Diner change hands? I always could count on it for a great meal. Today, however, the service was marginal and the food terrible. It used to be my go to place. Will not be back. We had the Don King and the egg white tacos. Horrible! Definitely not worth the money. Will not be back. Very disappointed

I love Citrus! I have been coming here for years. It’s the best breakfast spot on Ogden Ave. All the food is delicious, but I love getting create your own Scrambler. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I love ordering for pickup too. It’s so fast!

Overall the location is easy to get to, the restaurant is well designed…I was a touch underwhelmed with the food, likely due to what I ordered. I had the avocado toast with a sunny side up egg and tomato on it. The tomato was $1.50 extra and was not entirely ripe (grape tomatoes would have been better for this?), and the egg was almost cooked through (not runny) with a couple surprises of shell. I’ll come back and try it but was definitely bummed about the meal.

Amazing breakfast! Friendly staff, great service and really good food. Really like the fact waitress asked if I wanted another to go cup of coffee. Ah…yes please! Definitely one of my top breakfast restaurants.

Great place. Great staff. Great food.
I just happened to sit next to someone that spoiled our appetite and was talking about racist things. Super degrading about Mexicans and Hispanics. Being Hispanic myself and seeing that there was staff that is Hispanic. I spoke up. But the people who were being rude. Had no remorse. No shame. And other people instead of acknowledging that it was bad and definitely not necessary to say that In a public place. They were more concerned that I was spoiling their appetite as if mine is not important. I love this place. But if that may occur again. I don’t know if I’ll come back. I felt so uncomfortable the entire time.
