A hole-in-the-wall European restaurant! I had this place saved in my bookmark for a while and recently had a chance to try it and had been back twice since then!
I have nothing bad to say about the food. Everything my friends and I had there was so delicious!
What I appreciate the most is that the chef himself would come out explaining what the dishes are then would check on you himself how everything tastes. Talk about next level customer service!
I will be coming back and spreading the word so more people can come and satisfy their cravings for proper European food! À bientôt!

I have been coming here since the new owner took over and its a delight. The server is knowledgable and friendly. The atmosphere & the music makes me feel like im on a little European vusit. I’ve tried most things on the menu and they all slap.

What a wonderful place to enjoy delicious and Devine European cuisine! We loved the authenticity of the dishes from the pierogis to the fresh bread and soups, so yummy. We celebrated my Mom’s bday here with our family party of 12 and the staff was excellent and attended to our every wish. Each dish was lovingly prepared and the service with Dori was just excellent. Thank you for making my Mom’s celebration special and smooth. We’ll be back for more and we’ll bring our friends next time.

Wonderful desserts! The signature Citron Crepe is a must try! The food is very unique and flavorful with large portions. The atmosphere is clean and very basic and cold. It’s expensive but not fancy or high class.

Yum! Good quality ingredients and just the right portion size to fill you. Very down to earth and family-friendly atmosphere. Seems very random for Spanaway to have a restaurant like this, haha. Very sweet of the chef to come out and say hello. I believe he is actually from France. We got the escargot, duck, salmon, and they had blueberry pie that day. The pie was not sweet like a typical American desserts but still good.

Wow! Talk about a hidden gem! Found this amazing place on the way to Olympia, WA. The chef here loves cooking and it shows. Amazing food. French Onion soup was fantastic. Boef Burguinone was as good as I have ever had, and the hand made spaetzle put it over the top. The Weinerschnitzel was also exceptional, and the included Jaeger sauce was awesome! Finally, the Crepes Citron added an expertly prepared sweet finish to a genuinely awesome dinner. I have no idea why this place isn’t packed-the location is definitely odd, but if you find yourself anywhere near Citron, you should definitely make an effort to stop by for dinner.

Citron European Bistro is truly a gem. Went for the second time and they happened to be open on Thanksgiving! They were very welcoming, the staff was prompt to provide friendly service. The chef is a maestro in the kitchen – both the tomato soup with young spinach and french onion soup were so warm and flavorful. The main course special was a lamb shank with assorted vegetables and beans (they also had a turkey and stuffing special but opted for the lamb). A wide assortment of dessert options to finish the meal, that night we went with the crepes Citron. Light and flaky crepe served with fruit and whipped cream. Filled with a soft sponge and citron creme that paired perfectly with a caramel drizzle over top, combined for a great finish to the meal.

The place to go when you want a genuine homemade European dinner. We visited twice this month and all the food we tried was amazing including the beef bourguinon, mussels, lamb, and fish. Touch of garden adds such freshness to the meals. The desserts are exceptional. Crepes are are must try.

It was a special celebration. We’ve been wanting to try this restaurant for awhile and it didn’t disappoint! The bratwurst and braised pork melted in your mouth. Cooked to perfection! We couldn’t decide on dessert, both the crepe and pudding were yummy. The chef came out to say hi. Such a lovely evening!

This place is absolutely wonderful! The staff there are so sweet and kind. All credit to the Chef’s because the food there was so delicious! It is all made from scratch, especially the dessert! I can tell that all the dishes were made with love. I will go there again.
