My first time service was excellent drinks were exceptional … meal was delish. It’s a dressy and casual atmosphere with a diverse group. Beautiful views from the rooftop of Chicago … but be ready to open your wallet not cheap and portions are small .

Impeccable service, amazing food, and epic view. Best to make reservations ahead of time – they give about 2 hours for your time here but it’s definitely enough. Didn’t feel rushed at all. Server was on point- family style portions which is great to experience depth of flavor in all a couple of plates. To close the eyes, take a breath, and taste the flavors was simply amazing. Great selection of beers and cocktails were all good. Love every moment of this place

good place to eat. I’ll start with service. HORRIBLE! They asked to transfer the waiters because they put them straight to look at the wall when they were full on the rooftop to look at the view. The waiter refused and told me to go to the front desk and ask for a seat. they refuse and say reserve and then we will transplant (there were free tables, and we already ordered food) after that we had to look for a waiter to ask for ketchup, napkins and so on. The food was not tasty. The lemon was overcooked to such an extent that there was no juice left in it, it stank of burning and instead of juice, there was mashed potatoes, it was impossible to water the fish with it. The fish was a crouton, I had to choose only the middle because the rest was greasy or crunchy cracker. I did not like the service from the word at all, the food was not worth the money! If you come here, just for the sake of the view and drink a drink.

It is hard getting reservations here so I would book in advanced if you can. The view is just hands down amazing looking out into millennium park at the little bean. The food was good too. We got the grain bowl and pasta dish. Excellent flavors and loved that they had a healthy option. We order two clams at $4 each. They were smaller than expected but still tasty. Totally worth a visit!

Absolutely stunning views. We attended a special event with Jeni’s ice cream and paired cocktails by Cindy’s. While the event was sequestered into a tiny corner, we loved enjoying the summer weather and view. Service was very friendly and we look forward to attending brunch some time. If the gin cocktail with mango and red pepper ever joins the main menu, order it!

This is the second time we’ve visited Cindy’s and both times it’s been good. It sits on top of the Athletic Club building and overlooks Millennium Park. The views are great for pictures! Inside is cute with wood everywhere, and natural lighting pours in from their ceiling. The drinks in my opinion are the main attraction but the food isn’t lacking by any means. They have alcohol and non-alcoholic cocktails along with beer, wine and champagne. If you like Bloody Mary’s I recommend trying there’s. Get it spicy and enjoy! It’s very tasty!! For food, we’ve tried the Chilaquiles, Avocado Toast, Chicken and Waffles, and Biscuits and Gravy. The Avocado Toast is basic, but it’s good if you’re in the mood for such an item. The Biscuits and Gravy weren’t very good. The biscuit was hard and the gravy was bland. Chilaquiles were good, lots of flavor and a big portion. Our favorite is their Chicken and Waffles. The waffles are airy and fluffy. The chicken is well battered, super moist and doused in hot honey. Such a good entree! I definitely recommend Cindy’s if you’re looking for brunch. I’d like to try their dinner menu but we’ve only been for brunch. Make reservations if you can get one. If not arrive early and wait in front of the elevator for Cindy’s. We’ve never made a reservation and try to get there 30-40 before they open to be one of the first ones in line. They take up 8 people at a time and if you don’t have a reservation they seat you at the bar. Make sure to plan accordingly!

Great location with an awesome view of Millennium park and the lakefront. Friendly staff and patrons alike. My wife had a salad she raved about, I had the Korean BBQ chicken sandwich, which was also great. A little pricey but worth it.

I wish I could give this place a 5 star rating, but due to a rude employee with zero tact, I can’t. My wife and I came here about 2pm on a Monday to enjoy a drink and the great view. It was chaotic inside and there was a wait to order a drink from the bar. Once we got our drinks (about a 15 minute wait), we went outside to the balcony. Fantastic view! You can see the bean, the face fountains, and all the activity down below. Before finishing our drinks we went inside and sat down at a table. After 5 minutes the hostess came over, put a “reserved” sign on our table and told us the table was reserved and we needed to leave. No friendliness at all. Just matter of fact LEAVE. So, we got up and I noticed other tables that now had reserved signs with no one sitting. I watched for 15 minutes and no one was being seated at any of the tables. So why the urgency to make us vacate where we were sitting? How about saying, “We’ll need this table soon so if you can vacate in ten minutes or so we’d appreciate it”. Or anything better that “you have to leave”. Really spoiled my visit here. Im big on customer service so this kind of stuff rubs me wrong. Overall, it seems like a nice place, but, there are TONS of other places around with good views, so I’d recommend finding a different spot. I will never ever come back to Cindy’s. No thanks. ****** I emailed them with my complaint about their employee. NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER after 2 months. That means THEY DO NOT CARE. So in other words, GO SOMEWHERE THAT WILL APPRECIATE YOUR BUSINESS!!!!!
