Some of the Best Birria Tacos I’ve Had!
I wasn’t expecting much going in, but wow — the birria tacos here are legit. The tortillas were perfectly crispy and golden, the meat was tender and packed with flavor, and the consomé had that deep, rich taste you only get when it’s made right. Every bite was ridiculously good.
The plate came with pickled onions that added the perfect crunch and acidity, and the sides of rice and beans were solid too — creamy beans, well-seasoned rice, and everything felt fresh. Even the presentation was great.
The vibe of the place is fun and lively with a nice bar setup, colorful décor, and good energy all around. Perfect spot to grab a drink and some seriously good food.
If you’re into birria tacos, this place is absolutely worth it. I’d come back just for those alone.

Nice little Tex-Mex style spot in the lobby of Kalahari resort. Casual bar and restaurant seating. Good selection of drinks for adults and kids. Decent menu. The corn dip and the taquitos are really good appetizers. No complaints with the quesadillas fajitas or the chimichanga. The chimichanga could have been fried a little more, to be crispier, so it was a little bit on the burrito side. Still it was stuffed full of chicken and rice and had different sauces on top. Service was fine, no complaints about that. Only complaint was they charged me for extra sour cream for the quesadillas… When you’re charging resort prices you would think they’d be able to just give you that.

Our family came here after attempting to dine at the Italian restaurant at Kalahari and having a disappointing experience, and Cinco Niños completely turned the night around.
Conveniently located right at the main entrance, the atmosphere was welcoming from the start. From the host to our waiter and servers, everyone greeted us with genuine smiles and excellent customer service.
To top it off, the food and drinks were amazing. My husband had the birria burrito, and I ordered the steak and shrimp fajita combo. Everything was packed with delicious flavor.
We left happy, full, and grateful we found this spot. Highly recommend!

We went here for taco Tuesday and the tacos where amazing!!!!! But they could of been a bit bigger. I ate five and had to order more. The margaritas where also good. The service was good and very friendly. My only complaint is the cheers suck! They definitely need better ones, not for big people. Can’t wait to come agin when we go back to kalahiri in August!

The food was decent but lacked the punch of flavor I was expecting for Mexican cuisine. The cocktails were fantastic! Service was slow and not very attentive but we were there at 3 on a Thursday so perhaps a busier time might actually be better? The servers were extremely nice though.

Greasy, slow service (11:30 on a Saturday). The Quesabirria tacos came with a side of tallow. Disgusting. My plate was so greasy that I had to push the remaining food to the edges of the plate to allow the grease to pool in the center of plate.
