Posted November 10th 2025 at 2:30 p.m. This is the absolute BEST Mexican restaurant in Lexington in my opinion. I live close so it’s convenient for me anyway. But I’ve been here NUMEROUS times and it’s ALWAYS great. The food is great, every single server I’ve experienced is great. It’s never over crowded (at least the times I come) and just an over all AMAZING spot to eat. The margaritas are AMAZING as well. I watched my waitress today notice a lady coming in who was elderly and using a cane make her way to the front door to help her get in and seated comfortably. THIS is great service and great staff. I’ll never know if there’s a better place in town because this is the ONLY place I’ll eat at. Thank you for your hard work, amazing food and dedication to outstanding customer service.

Food was good, however my steak was not done on my Texas Nachos I don’t eat med rare meat and it was still bleeding turned my tummy! Also the chicken was pieces like scraps and only 4 pieces of shrimp on top to make it look good! Oh by the way this plate was $14 The seating was fine service was ok

I ordered and when I got home. The chicken Chimichanga was so hard and they did not leave the guacamole and sour cream off like I ask. My Churros had chocolate and sprinkles on them. I was disgusted with the food and the managers.

The place was beautiful, food smelled amazing. But for authentic food, it was extremely bland! I asked for my steak to be well done and well I didn’t expect to eat a tire. So after myself and someone else was struggling to cut it I tried just clamping down on it and tugging the fork and ended up stabbing the tip of my nose and all inside of it. The worst part the steak still hadn’t pulled apart, so I was holding it in my mouth for 10 mins to soften it enough to chew before spitting it into my napkin and being done with the whole meal entirely. Three people each with an plate and one dessert, $50 for something we should have just got from Taco Bell. None of us ate 1/4 of our food, we just collected our to go plates and trashed it. As you can see from the pics 24 minutes later, the bleeding stopped but you can see how my nostrils are different and the under part of my nose is still swollen.

My wife and I visited because we had a coupon for a bogo lunch entree. It was not during the rush when we arrived (about 2:30)- we were promptly seated and served chips and salsa. The service was great throughout.
Frankly, I’ve had better salsa, but theirs is okay.
OMG! .when the main entrees arrived! I have never seen a bigger chimichanga in my life. And it was amazing. My wife ordered the burrito, and reports that it is the best burrito she’s ever had.
Cinco de Mayo, you’ve made a couple of new today customers! Way to go.

We went to Cinco De Mayo Monday, May 12, 2025 for the first time ever. I was looking for tamales and they have them. When we walked in the guy there assumed we were dining in. When I said to go his attitude changed immediately. He seemed very agitated and didn’t really want to serve us. His demeanor was very cold. I almost changed my mind but I really wanted those tamales. After he took our order he said he would be back with the food, and after about 20-25 min he came back with our order and say it on a table. When we got home I opened up my order and I knew something was wrong. The tamales were steak when I ordered beef and they were old and cold. The rice and beans were not appealing at all. My husband ordered street tacos and I ate one of his, which was good, but that’s not what I wanted. My husband told me later that the tacos affected his stomach something awful. I wanted to go back and try the entire menu but I have changed my mind. I told my husband I believe the manager (or whoever he is) got angry because we decided to do take out AND because we are black patrons. I understand why I never walked in that place before and Cinco De Mayo will not see anymore of my money ever again. If I could give it NEGATIVE stars I would.
