Reviews
– Food is flavorful and cooked well.
– Quick service and friendly staff. But they also don’t hover.
The carne asada tacos are killer. My favorite food to get here. Add a bit of sour cream and verde and it’ll be your new favorite food.
I love stopping here for a chill lunch when I just want some time to myself. I recommend trying whatever drink they have going that day.
Portions were very large, and the prices were extremely reasonable. The restaurant was spotlessly clean, and the owner came around twice to check on us. As we were leaving, he also mentioned a new meat they were offering as an option….It is called Arabe….a seasoned pork. He even cooked a small portion for us to taste and it was amazing. Very nice experience. We will definitely go back again soon.
The sides are always fun and different, which we love, and the whole vibe is just great. The staff is super kind, and the space is always clean and well taken care of. Just an all-around gem — we’re so glad it exists.
The carnitas street tacos were beyond delicious. Fresh, juicy, and filled perfectly. And packed with flavor. The beans had a solid kick to them. I was expecting “standard, bland, chain Mexican restaurant refried beans”. Definitely the best tacos I’ve had in a while.
I WILL be back to try more. The owner told me about a new item he’s starting tomorrow!
We came in around 6 PM to find the place empty. The menu is small and the pricing is definitely on the higher side, more in the $20+ per person range. For example, a basic meal is about $15, and even a set of three tacos runs around $12 without any sides.
What really stood out in a negative way was their dinner-for-two option. It included two meats, tortillas, and some basic toppings, but the portions were misleading. We ended up with mostly pork (about 75-80%) and very little steak, all chopped up like ground beef. Plus, they only provided six small tortillas for two people. When we asked for more, they charged an extra $3.50 for another six tiny tortillas, which just felt like a ripoff.
In the end, while the food quality might be decent, the way they handle pricing and portions seems underhanded. Because of that, I can’t recommend this place.
