The food was good and the service was good. I liked my sons shrimp salad more than the flautas I ordered. Coming from a 10 year old he said he expected more shrimp. My daughter got a quesadilla. Good portion. The only thing that we missed was dessert because all 3 options were not available.

Delicious! Our server Charlize was great, very attentive and courteous. We ordered the combination platters, 1-steak and 1-chorizo. Come with a tostada, taco and quesadilla in your choice of meat. Also got the guacamole and salsa with chips. All very good, I will say the only downside was the atmosphere, restaurant is small which isn’t bad but the first table they at us at had condensation dripping on it from the A/C unit.

They get 5/5 stars for their tacos alone. 3 words — homemade corn tortillas. Skip the flour ones here! Pro-tip, eat the tacos IN the restaurant so those incredible tortillas have that little crisp on them. The tortilla will lose the crisp sitting in the styrofoam.

Delicious and reasonably priced. We will be back! The shrimp fajitas were amazing, the homemade tortillas so good. They serve complimentary chips with red and green salsa. Tacos Al Pastor were delicious

Came here because it had high reviews and I was not disappointed. I got the ground beef taco platter- delicious! The green (mild) salsa that comes with the chips are GOLD. I drizzled that on my tacos too. If they bottled it, I would definitely buy it. Prices are reasonable too. I would come again.

I find the average reviews are hardest to write. Nothing was wrong or terrible, but nothing was particularly great either. This is one of those reviews.
This place is very small. We were seated in the back room, which unfortunately had a bit of a trash can/dumpster smell that lingered. It was off putting but did eventually seem to clear by the time we left, perhaps as the A/C circulated the air a bit? It was not a great start to the meal.
I got the flautas, which were… fine. I didn’t think they had much flavor at all and I don’t really get putting half slices of tomato on top. Diced at least makes them easier to eat with the flautas themselves. My mom and husband’s meals were also just ok. Not bad. But not good enough to justify going back most likely.
The two salsas that came with the chips were incredibly watery, but what I did taste was again…fine. But you really couldn’t get much on a chip at all given the consistency.
I did appreciate having Coke and Fanta in the glass bottles – that’s always a nice touch.

March 2021: we ordered for take-out due to covid. Food was incredible. We ordered vegetarian burrito, nachos and bunuelos. Food was ready in 15 minutes. Great service, great taste, friendly staff. We’ll be back when indoor dining resumes.

Our go-to place for delicious Mexican dishes in OC. Small dining area. Put in your name and get a table in 20-25 minutes even on a busy Saturday. Good selection, we had Carne La Tampiquena, Beef Burrito, and Fish Tacos. All excellent and hearty servings.

There was a little wait on a Saturday night but it was totally worth it! Yummy guacamole and chips appetizer. I ordered Horchata and it was just perfect. Chimichanga platter was delicious! Everything was super authentic and tasty. My sister enjoyed her quesadilla and my Dad loved the presentation of his platter. This restaurant is definitely busy but has great team work. We will definitely be heading back!
