Great spot post hiking in Norvin. We came off hours and got excellent service anyways. The free chip and salsa were delicious – the salsa was so good. Also got cheese tortilla on the house. I ordered molcajete and it was amazingly juicy with perfectly charred meats. Husband got taco, burrito, and enchiladas combo and all three were good! Even the dessert of apple tortilla with cinnamon, whipped cream and caramel = yummy~
Overall, great food, excellent service and 10/10 would come back next time I’m in the area.

Excellent authentic Mexican food with outstanding attentive service. This is a very small but quaint hidden gem. Fantastic menu options with a full bar and mixed drink menu. Within minutes of seating you are politely served chips and homemade salsa. The Campesino was prepared perfectly. A huge portion that couldn’t be finished. A traditional margarita was also prepared nicely with a nice added touch of tajin on the rim. The attentive and very accommodating service was concluded with a complimentary dessert. The sweet Chimichanga with whipped cream was decadent. And just when I thought the service couldn’t get any better, I was offered a complimentary shot of tequila.

Came for dinner on a Saturday, chips and salsa was brought over as soon as we sat down. Not too long after complimentary quesadillas. We ordered guacamole and nachos for appetizers. My wife ordered the mocajete for one, I ordered the chicken fajitas, and my kids got quesadillas and chicken fingers and French fries. Everything that came out of the kitchen was perfect. The mocajete was amazing, every piece of it was fresh and perfectly cooked, the sauce that went with it really tied the whole mocajete together. The chicken fajitas were the best chicken fajitas I’be had in a very long time. Nice resturaunt, good service and very nice people. Highly recommend and could not have been happier with the food.

Highly recommend, not only was the food delicious but the hospitality was exceptional. After the usual chips and salsa we were given complimentary cheese quesadillas, and after our meal complimentary sweet chimichangas. Not to mention some free tequila shots as well. Highly recommend, the portions are enough to feed you the next day as well.

Honestly, a fantastic place. Great service, good food, and well decorated. I would just say the prices can be a bit high. They give you freebies which is nice but they charge you per fountain soda refill. Either way, I will be coming back.
