My sister took me and some family on here for a birthday gift coming down from Detroit. Great time from the moment we took the steps onto the train. All the staff were incredible, the food and drinks were delicious, and it was a fantastic time for an autistic train lover like me.

There’s live entertainment, delicious food and wonderful sights and staff! Prompt service, the history was brought alive too. A wonderful experience I would highly recommend!

Had a great time on the CDT. The meal and service were much better than I anticipated. We went in mid November, so the views were limited by the darkness, but were still pleasant. The conductors provided historical information along the route. Would recommend this to anyone for a fun night out.

It was a fun and unique way to spend date night. Dinner with a view and a step back into history during a simpler time when travel way seen as a luxury experience. the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are enjoying yourself, the conductor points out historic landmarks, all while the queen city sisters sing songs from the 40’s and 50’s! After dinner you are invited to the platform for a photo op and to blow the trains whistle!

We had a gift certificate given to us for Christmas a couple of years ago that we finally got to use. The pros: It was a really good time having dinner on the train, being entertained and hearing some history. The staff was awesome and really went above and beyond. After dinner they highly recommended to explore the train, which we did. It was quite a ride back holding on as we were walking, but it made for some good laughs. Several groups of people dressed up forties style which was very cool. I would suggest if you have a special occasion to book well in advance if you can. Some of the cons: Also I felt that the price was a little high for what you got. Drinks were about average price these days, $12 a piece and tip added another $50. Also they sat us with another couple, which I wasn’t a fan of, but oh well. Another thing, don’t be expecting beautiful scenery on this ride. It was a lot of graffiti on the back side of buildings and shopping centers. Lol.

I planned this as a date night for my husband and I. We had the absolute best time traveling back in time by train. The waitress was so nice and enjoyed what she was doing. The drinks from the bar were strong which was great! The music on the train was relaxing and mimicked the 1940s era. We dined like kings and queens as the food was superb. My husband had the prime rib medium rare, with chocolate pecan pie for dessert and I had the salmon with the NY style cheese cake. The sides were fantastic and we loved the green beans. The lady singers were amazing and greeted you on the train and then performed in the entertainment car after dinner. The ride was dark so besides city lights and the reflection from the river you couldn’t see much but that was totally fine with us. We can’t wait to go again!

Had an absolutely wonderful experience!! My fiancé loves trains so I saw this experience on tiktok and thought this might be a great valentine’s day present and my goodness what’s I right!! This was a whole beautiful experience from the second you park your car! We were in the silver sword car and the waiters were fantastic. Brett was so fun as well he came up to our table and had us all laughing multiple times and answered all our questions, he was a joy. The food was fantastic, the sights especially when you get closer to the river was beautiful, the entertainment was phenomenal, overall we had such a wonderful experience. (And did I mention you get to toot the horn on the train??) We would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to try something new and fun!!

We had a great time! My husband and I went for my birthday. We did buy our tickets a little over a month in advance. The food was good, the cars were all very pretty, and the staff was all kind. Conductor Brett also threw out some ok jokes and knew a lot about trains.

Parking is a little inconvenient. There is no train station or any waiting area. The train is clean and cute and appears to be well maintained. We had the prime rib and the salmon. Both were pretty good, especially for being served on such a facility. The staff was very friendly.
The route ran from the section road area, down through Madisonville and red bank road and finally ended up at the boat house. Return was just the reverse of the outward trip.

We had an absolutely amazing experience on the Cincinnati Dinner Train. The food was amazing, we both chose the salmon. The staff and crew were phenomenal! We very much enjoyed learning about the rich history of the Cincinnati railroad. We definitely recommend reserving your trip and we will be back again soon!
