Decided to try Cimaroli’s for a birthday dinner from a short list that my partner gave me and I’m glad I did. From the service to the food everything was excellent. They dont do reservations it is first come first served here so if it’s busy there might be a wait we were dining on a Tuesday and we got there at 5pm an hour after they open at 4pm so we were seated immediately. As they were taking us to our table we noticed they had a guitarist in the bar playing and there was also music playing in the restaurant but softly enough to not bother a conversation. Our server whose name was Colan I believe but I am very bad with names so sorry to him if that’s not correct was there very quickly with the menus and to take our drink orders we decided on a Coke and a house Brandy old fashioned sweet. As we waited for the drinks we decided not to get an appetizer but to just go with dinner. When Colan returned we ordered, she decided to get the 10oz. Flat iron steak with a baked potato and the house salad with blue cheese dressing and I chose the full rack of ribs with the Italian potatoes and a bowl of vegetable beef soup. By the way the ribs are a Tues. Wed. Thurs. special. Our server brought our soup and salad which were both great she said the salad was cold and crisp and the dressing was very good with plenty of chunks of blue cheese in it my soup equally as good with a great beefy broth nice mix of veggies and several nice pieces of beef. Our entrees were brought out as we were finishing our soup and they were both excellent. Her flat iron steak was cooked a perfect medium rare and was tender and had great flavor i was told and the baked potato was perfectly baked. My ribs were outstanding with a very good sauce and cooked to fall off the bone tenderness which is what I like (Thank you Colan for the recommendation). If you like to fight with your ribs a bit these might not be for you but i dont so they were perfect. As we were finishing our entrees our server came over and as he was removing a couple of plates asked if we would be interested in dessert i said well I hadn’t seen dessert on the menu he said oh yes they have dessert if I was interested he would bring the choices out to show us we were and he did. I will spoil it for anyone who hasn’t been here and who might come and enjoy Cimaroli’s but the choices were varied and all looked good I chose the chocolate cake with whipped cream and it was the perfect ending to a perfect birthday dinner. Thank you to my better half for the choices and for a great birthday meal.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, which far exceeded my expectations! Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience—our server truly enhanced our visit with exceptional service.
You can’t go wrong with a $5 Old Fashioned! The complimentary bread and butter were delightful, while the cheese curds earned a solid 4 out of 5.
The steak and shrimp were both outstanding, with the garlic butter elevating the flavors perfectly. While it may not quite rival the likes of Del Bar or Fields, it still offers excellent value for a delicious steak. In comparison, the shrimp surpassed that of Mariners, though it falls short of the high standards set by Fields and Del Bar, in my opinion.
Do not miss the chocolate cake and tiramisu—they are absolute must-tries!
All in all, this was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it to any supper club enthusiasts!

This place was amazing. I highly recommend the flat iron steak.The steak was cooked in garlic butter and had amazing flavor. The cheese curds were great and all the food was served hot. The carrot cake for dessert was amazing.

Stopped here on the way home from “Up North”. I was kinda hoping the food was better after hearing the rave review of a regular diner in the lobby. The steak was very good. Well cooked and juicy. But the side salad was disappointing. The baked potato wasn’t fresh. The rolls were boring and the unsalted butter didn’t help. But they did have a large dessert tray and the chocolate cake was tasty even after the hour drive home.

My wife had a flat iron stake, I had the roast duck with lingonberries, both were fantastic! Our old fashioned’s were superb! We also had the crab dip appetizer, it was amazing!
We arrived at 4:20 and we were seated immediately. It was very full by 5pm on a Saturday. We will definitely be back!

We’re so happy we made the 35 min drive from Madison to check out Cimaroli’s! It reminds you of a upscale Wisconsin supperclub, minus the City prices. The main bar looks exactly out of the 1940’s. The recently renovated dining room was upscale, yet casual with a hidden second, overflow bar! They really promote their flat iron steak (for a reason)This tender, buttery cut was amazing. We also ordered the Prime Rib. Not as good, but still outstanding! The Old Fashioned’s are $5 each with a heavy-handed pour:) Bernice? our server was on point during our entire meal. They had a great staff, relaxed nature and exceptional meal. What a true Wisconsin gem!

I have been wanting to try Cimaroli’s for a couple of years… Tonight my wife and I went and waited about 30 minutes, but the food was great and worth the wait. Our waitress, Cheryl, was awesome! For as busy as it was, packed, she checked on us and even brought me a refill without asking! Great service! My ribeye was cooked perfect and my wife’s flat iron steak was perfect as well! The Italian potatoes were delicious and to to it off, the wife had a grasshopper….5 stars all day long!

Food is amazing! Had the 16 ounce flat iron steak and it was incredible! Calamari for an appetizer for the table was a huge hit as well. Drinks were spot on. Our server was fast, polite, and very knowledgeable on the menu. Great atmosphere for dinner with friends and family.
