Avoid Cilantro if you care about getting what you paid for. We ordered through their mobile app for pickup: three quesadillas, three tacos, a large horchata, elote, a side of rice, and a side of beans. We put the pick up time to be at 7:25, we arrived around 7 but we were okay to wait 25 minutes but when we went inside to let them know we are ready to pick up they said the food was ready to go, they handed me the bags of food. If we were to get there at the scheduled time the food would’ve been cold…we went home and found out two items were missing.
I called immediately and was told refunds take 14 days, which is unreasonable for a simple missing item. The employee offered to remake it, but expecting a customer to drive 20 minutes back for one quesadilla defeats the purpose of ordering pickup. While eating, we also discovered they forgot the side of beans. That’s two missing items, around $10 worth of food.
The food itself was mediocre and didn’t make up for the mistakes. What made the experience worse was the customer service. Communication was difficult, and when I suggested they be more careful with orders, I was told that when they’re busy, mistakes happen and it’s “not their fault.” That attitude shows a lack of accountability and professionalism.
On top of that, the restaurant layout is poorly organized, with a single entry and exit point that creates confusion and congestion. Combined with careless order handling and dismissive service, this was a frustrating experience from start to finish.
I would not recommend this location to anyone. There are plenty of better options that respect customers’ time and money.

Decent food. Ordered steak salad and steak taco. The taco was way too small and the salad was good size. The taste was okay. Kind of like Chipotle but the sauces were different. Overall, it was at I expected.

WARNING FOR THE SCHAUMBURG LOCATION!! IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES, DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! I told the cashier that my son has a dairy allergy and to please make sure to not put cheese in the burrito or the beans in his burrito dinner. Cashier assured me that this was an accommodation they could make. My hunger caused me to forget to check before I left and when I got home, there was cheese all over his meal. Went back to get a refund and tried to explain that this had been a serious wrench in my family’s plans for the night (the trip back and drive home took me at least an hour altogether) and found the cashier to be very unhelpful. We had a fine conversation when I first came in, but when I came back it felt like she was pretending not to understand me at times. It came across as very condescending, and I only got a refund for the single burrito dinner. I left completely frustrated as well as hungry. I enjoyed my previous experience at this location, but after this experience I will not be returning.

We came back today to try their dinner plate. It was very delicious! 3 great salsas yo choose from and pickled veggies too! The tamales are freshly made and everything is served hot!

Great casual authentic Mexican eatery you’ve got to try. I ordered a chicken taco that was the best I’ve had in a long time. Food is made fresh daily. Service was quick and server was very nice taking my order. My chicken taco had a lot of meat in it, was freshly prepared and hot. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food and high quality they serve!

The good – cilantro is a taco spot. The choco flan they have was flavorful and there is plenty of indoor seating.
Okay… to start the sound system is awful. The ‘music’ is crackling throughout the entire time even when it goes to a different segment/song.
I was here with a group of 4 during dinner and it was an interesting experience. The lady who took our order was very nice and friendly. However she did get parts of our order wrong. My fiance ordered flour tortillas and he was given corn. She also stated the flour tortillas are a little spicy which is fine, but I would assume that bc of that interaction he would have gotten the correct 1s.
The food overall is very greasy. They are flavorful but everything was dripping in grease. My fiance also had a bolt/screw in his meal. First of all, why is that happening and 2.. how is that missed? I’ve circled the photos in blue to show where the screw is. The staff member knew right away something was wrong and when I approached the counter she said ‘you found something didn’t you?’ She apologized multiple times and gave us a full refund and desserts which I do appreciate.

The girl that assisted us didn’t explain that everything had cilantro and onion. I asked for Chilaquiles, and I said that I did not want cream, sour cream or cilantro, and my plate came with that Los Chilaquiles and the red Chilaquiles were not good. It was my first time coming, and I do not recommend this restaurant the fact that they served us in plastic plates like wow we paid a good amount of money and you’re getting plastic plates really then what happened to the whole getting the experience nowadays , customer service Has gone down, but it is sad that you are in front of the waitress and letting her know what you want and she just ignored you and gave you what she wanted to give you I would never ever come to this restaurant. I had such a bad experience. Food needs seasoning

If you’re looking for good Mexican fast food – this is it. I was impressed by the taco protein selection which included lengua. You can make your tacos any style – but I preferred street style with just onion and cilantro and it was good! Food was freshly made and hot. I am not sure if the horchata is made from scratch, but it was alright. My friend ordered a taco salad, and she loved it. This location has a drive thru. Staff was friendly and restaurant was clean. Reasonable prices. Next time I am looking for a quick non Tex-Mex tacos in the chicago suburbs, I’ll be stopping by.

LOVE THE FOOD!!! Just make sure you double check your to-go order before you leave because they almost always get it wrong lol. But they’re super nice and the food is orgasmically delicious

Food was okay , I had the chilaquiles , I know I’m not expecting Perry’s or capital grille steak , but can we use salt and pepper ! It was just okay …. I actually went into Stonewood, sat down … and thought , no let’s get some spicy flavorful Mexican food. I was excited when I saw chilaquiles. The person at the cash register was super friendly and explained everything but I wouldn’t go out my way for this place. Doesn’t feel authentic and lacks flavor has weird vibe. I’m not Hispanic , but I could have done a better job with the beans , rice , chips but the biggest disappointment was the piece of steak that gave, which tied everything up together. I did like there spicy ( creamy green salsa)

I love Cilantro, food always hits the mark. however it was absolutely freezing in the restaurant, and only one space heater in the corner. also I felt like I was intruding on staff, not welcoming :/ drive thru next time …
