First and last time at Cielo. After a problem with our food and watching other customers’ drink orders getting filled before ours was, the counter person offered us a full refund as a goodwill gesture. The manager refunded only part of the order and when I followed up on the phone and asked very nicely for her to honor what her employee had promised, she refused and said he wasn’t authorized to do that. How, as a customer, was I to know? She finally agreed to honor the return, but then never actually did it.

Healthy, delicious and perfectly seasoned food. Love that they pair salads with their sandwiches. The dressing on the salad is divine. The steak sandwich with the chipotle aioli is top notch, especially for someone who doesn’t usually love sandwiches. Cute place in a lovely area. Perfect for walking around as there are boutique stores in the surrounding area.

What a peaceful and beautiful place! I went early around 7:30am and got myself a crunch A Latte and Chilaquiles. Both were sOOO good! The barista is a sweetheart! I didn’t feel rushed while I was looking at the Menu since it was my first time (Definitely not last!) that coffee woke me up! I love that they have outdoor seating.

I went for brunch at Cielo Monday morning and had the BEST time. The atmosphere was busy but calm and the food was delicious. My mom and I had the breakfast tacos and iced lattes and it his the spot! The bacon was crispy and the eggs were cooked to perfection. They also gave two different salsas which were fabulous together. Definitely recommend stopping in!

Stopped by this past Friday. We ordered the breakfast burrito 8/10 a bit small but good, the flour tortilla was a 10, the egg was cooked perfectly and the bacon was delish, shredded egg avo toast 7/10, faltaba sal y pimienta but the micro greens were a great addition. The brewed black coffee was great and served hot, the Iced Matcha was heavy on the milk. The team was attentive and the owner was working in the back but kept an eye on the counter. She noticed I was standing there and came with another employee to ask if I’d been helped! Will definitely go back to support mi gente!

My experience at Cielo on San Marino was disappointing. While the breakfast burrito was okay, it fell short in several areas. The bacon was overcooked to the point of being hard to eat, and there was an overwhelming amount of cheese that overpowered the entire dish. The only saving grace was the perfectly cooked eggs. However, the service was the biggest letdown. The staff, particularly the lady serving, lacked basic courtesy and customer service. She didn’t greet us and seemed disinterested, giving the impression that she was only there for the paycheck. Overall, while the food had its moments, the poor service significantly detracted from the dining experience.

Need a perfect spot to chill x coffee? Cielo is the place. It’s a new and spacious coffee shop in the heart of San Marino. Its Latin inspired menu and perfectly brewed coffee drinks makes it a good addition to the neighborhood. Similarly, they offer wine and beer for customers. And a free wifi.
The UNIT B’s former two vendors were also coffee business shops – sadly they didn’t last that long. Hopefully with Cielo would last longer. I came early Sunday morning to try their breakfast: chicken pesto sandwich and cafe de olla. Food was good and coffee was perfectly brewed. Prices seem fair. Staff was professional. Service was on point. Street parking and a rear parking lot are available.
Overall, it a chill coffee shop.
