If your looking for good authentic Mexican food this is the place you need to be. Every plate is cooked to order. The best dish is the Molcajate Bowl. Very wonderful taste that’s going drive your taste buds crazy!!!! Very clean and pleasant place. The staff is amazing.

My family and I have eaten at this restaurant several times. The food and service here is more typical of a true Mexican restaurant than most Mexican restaurants located in the United States. Regardless of what most Mexican restaurants profess as to being authentic, they usually have greatly adjusted their dishes to reflect their customers accustomed tastes. This restaurant, to a greater degree than most, gives a customer the feel of sitting and eating in a true Mexican restaurant as one might expect in Mexico.

No. Just don’t do it. 3 of us decided to try it for lunch and spent $13 each with teas. We had Mexican Tacos Pastor w rice and beans. Worst I’ve ever had. Meat had an awful flavor. Couldn’t even eat it. The rice was over cooked and the refried beans tasted like they have been refried 3 days in a row. The chimichanga and ground beef tacos my buddies had were bland and unseasoned. Not even salted…just plain meat w lettuce. Frozen burritos from the jiffy store would be better.
These high star reviews must be their friends or family. San Joe’s which I’ve had before is walking distance away. They are way better. Hate to give a bad review, but I’m being honest.

I lived several years in Tucson, AZ. I totally agree with the reviewer who said that Celito Lindo is more authentic Mexican than most USA versions of Mexican. When they first opened, they were great. Then, they had a bad spell. Now they are back to being great. The person who preferred San Joe’s must not like authentic Mexican food. I am so glad to have an authentic alternative in Dawson.

I ORDERED THE ENCHILADA WITH THE WHITE CHEESE SAUCE. THE RESTAURANT WASN’T CROWDED AND IT TOOK APPROXIMATELY 30 MINUTES BEFORE THE FOOD WAS READY. WHEN WE GOT THE FOOD HOME, THEY HAD CHARGED FOR TWO DINNERS. THE DINNER WAS SUPPOSE TO COME WITH LETTUCE, TOMATOES, RICE AND REFRIED BEANS. NEEDLESS TO SAY, THEY DIDN’T PUT IT WITH MY ORDER. I CALLED BACK TO LET THE MANAGER KNOW WHAT TRANSPIRED AND HE WAS MAKING ALL KIND OF EXCUSES. BASICALLY TELLING ME THAT MY HUSBAND SHOULD’VE CHECKED IT. I TOLD HIM HIS COOK SHOULD’VE MADE SURE EVERYTHING WAS SUPPOSE TO BE IN THE ORDER… . NEEDLESS TO SAY, I WON’T BE PATRONIZING THIS BUSINESS AGAIN
