5 stars across the board for CIBO. The service was fantastic, the ambiance was warm and inviting, and the food was high quality and absolutely delicious.
I also really appreciated the thoughtful details, especially the coat hooks and hangers so you’re not stuck sitting on top of jackets and bags. It’s the little things that make the experience that much better. Highly recommend!

We celebrated Valentine’s Day dinner at Cibo Waterfront Café in Winnipeg, and it was such a beautiful experience. The ambience was warm, cozy, and perfect for a romantic evening with my hubby. The soft lighting and lovely décor made the night feel extra special.
The service was truly wonderful — the staff were attentive, polite, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the evening. As vegetarians, we were so happy to see good veg options available for us.
We enjoyed bruschetta, Margherita pizza, patatas, and their famous arancini balls — everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The arancini balls were definitely a highlight! Highly recommend for a special dinner date in Winnipeg!

Had a wonderful supper here for a date night. Great service, attentive and helpful and our order was amazing! All very delicious! It’s in a lovely location right next to the red river and has a very lively atmosphere which can get very loud. We shared the bruschetta and calamari, both were excellent! Definitely recommend visiting here!

I came here for a friends birthday party with a small group, and oh my goodness was it perfect. The atmosphere of the restaurant is perfect for a dinner or lunch date. The service was pretty good and our waitress was so friendly and helpful. The food was AMAZING! Everyone in my group left feeling very satisfied with their meals. Safe to say I will most definitely be returning and I would easily recommend this to anyone looking for a nice place to eat at in a small group.

The server was great just showing up to ensure the water glass was full. Wasn’t to pushy or asking to much about how’s the food or how some overbearing waiters can be.

We’ve been here at least half a dozen times, and Cibo never disappoints. Every visit has been consistently excellent. I ordered the smash burger for the first time, and it was cooked perfectly. The bun was fresh, and all the ingredients were delicious. The Old Fashioned is easily one of the best in the city. Until next time, Cibo!

awesome spot in a historical building and a cool part of town. the server was attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious. a little on the expensive side but worth it for a good meal. bill came to 114$ without tip for lunch for 3 people + one dessert and coffees. worth taking a walk around the neighborhood afterwords. parking is not great in the area with mostly paid options only.

This place has a great vibe. I ordered the pasta because the scampi is supposed to be famous, but I wished the sauce was richer and thicker, I didn’t think it was worth $30, despite having a good amount of black prawns. the pizza however was tasty

Have been wanting to try this restaurant for the longest time and I understand the popularity of it now! The pasta was great and they have a patio outside. Make sure to make reservations ahead of time because the restaurant gets really full
