My friend and I visited Ciao Pasta today after seeing their social media posts, and we couldn’t have left more obsessed! Everything was beautifully presented, cooked fresh on the spot, and absolutely delicious. The staff was so welcoming, invited questions, and followed up with each guest about their satisfaction with their meals. Great experience overall!! We are lucky to have a place like this in Hagerstown. We’ll be back!

The owner was incredibly kind and genuinely welcoming, he checked on us personally to make sure everything was perfect. The food is absolutely SPECTACULAR, fresh, flavorful, and truly made with love. You can taste the care in every bite. The restaurant itself is spotless, cozy, and feels like a place that really values its customers.

We drove all the way from DC after seeing Ciao Pasta on TikTok, and it 100% lived up to the hype. This family-owned Italian spot run by Gennaro and Natalia is truly special.
I had the Toscano with ciabatta bread and it was amazing. Perfect amount of spice and so flavorful. The burrata was creamy and fresh. Absolutely delicious. You can taste how authentic everything is.
We also tried the cannolis, and they were the perfect amount of sweetness, the perfect way to end our meal.
The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, and you can really tell how passionate they are about what they do.
Everything about this place was worth the drive. We’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Wishing them all the success -highly recommend!

12/10 recommend this place!! Starting off with the food, the pasta was cooked perfectly and had such great flavors. We could not decide which dish we liked better. The menu is a bit overwhelming but only because everything sounds so good. As for the service, you order on a little kiosk and wait for your name/ number to be called. Nothing fancy but efficient. It’s a small shop with limited seating. The kitchen is open though for you to see your pasta being prepared and watching how it’s done. Owners checked in and made sure you were enjoying your meal. It was very enjoyable and we felt, reasonably priced for such great quality.

I have a feeling this place is going to be a huge success & lemme tell you why. The family that runs it is lovely. It has got a simple yet cute & clean atmosphere with good music. There’s a pretty big menu selection & it’s reasonably priced! & the food….. can I just say I have high expectations when it comes to Italian food & this place blew it out of the water. The homemade pasta is so fresh & the Rosa sauce was the best I’ve ever had. I got the croissant on a whim & I am so glad I did. I legit about fell out of my chair after biting into it, it was that good. I got the lemon one and it was sweet but not overpowering sweet nor artificial lemon flavor, & it was the flakiest. My entire meal was $17 & its generous portions. Now this isn’t a fast food restaurant so be prepared to wait just a minute as they freshly prepare your meal. I will definitely be back, quite possibly tomorrow ❤️

I was recommended this place by a good friend of mine a few weeks back. They had told me, “that there is a new restaurant in town that has AMAZING pasta! The pasta is homemade and fresh and the restaurant is owned and ran by a little family and they have their kids in the back drawing at a table and every so often the family or kids will come out to speak with you and just interact with the costumers. It’s really great, you should try it!” Guess what?! My friend was not wrong. When I tell you that the pasta dish that I had, was the best pasta dish I have ever had in the USA, I mean it. I visit Europe often (as I have family that live in Germany) and I am a frequent traveler. I can’t rave enough about this little pasta restaurant! The owners are Extremely friendly and spare no thoughts or words on helping you out with your order if you don’t know what to get, and they are ALL ABOUT their business! You can order directly from someone working behind the counter or there are kiosks available to order from as well, and the ordering system is very easy to use. If you’re having trouble deciding or just aren’t sure exactly what something is, just ask. They will help you along the way! The food is made very fresh and quickly practically right in front of you and if the restaurant is not extremely busy the owner and cooks will take their time to talk to you while they are cooking the food.
Now for the food. My wife and I both got the Salmone pasta, fresh bread, a side of meatballs and ceasar salads. I’m not sure what it is, but between the extremely fresh pasta and the fresh ingredients, or the great seasoning and herbs, but I have never had a better pasta dish in this area or in the USA. The portions are More than generous, and the flavors are amazing. The salad was tasty, not too heavily sauced and could tell the freshness in the lettuce and also that the dressing is homemade. So tasty! The meatballs ware garlicky and fresh (but not overpowering) and were pretty large.
I’m a pretty big boy lol… as I love my food. And I am typically not overly full when I leave restaurants. But I was literally cleaned my plate and also couldn’t have eaten another bite if I wanted to. My wife and I brought my daughter in with us (4years old) and she’s a bit of a picky eater. She typically does NOT eat spaghetti with a sauce, but we thought we would give it a try. She devoured her whole plate of PASTAAAA!!! And after he first bite she yelled out in the restaurant, “DADDY THIS IS SO YUMMYYYY!!”

Fantastico!!! Ciao Pasta is not kidding when they say the paste is made fresh/in-house/daily. This is a family owned and operated business. The pasta is delicious! Gennaro is out there manning the stove and bringing the Italian love to all the dishes.
I highly recommend the Cacio e Pepe and the Salmone pasta. While you’re at it…get yourself a pistachio or Nutella filled cornetto!
There’s a full service coffee bar as well with all the Italian style coffees you love.
I’ll be returning many more times!

A true hidden gem of an establishment I was honestly not expecting the quality and authenticity of the food that I received! delicious is an understatement because you can taste the love for the Italian culture in each dish. It was much like enjoying your mother’s home cooked meal. The owners are phenomenally kind and vibrant people and we are so lucky to have been able to enjoy a meal of Italy so close to home! Absolutely amazing! The pasta and cannolis at Ciao Pasta are outstanding. You can really taste the difference knowing the pasta is made fresh and from scratch. I tried the cacio e pepe and it was so good—simple, authentic, and perfectly executed. And the cannolis are a must-try! Finally, we have a truly authentic Italian restaurant right here in Hagerstown. Highly recommend!
