It’s a great little Mediterranean restaurant. The décor is a bit dated, but the staff are friendly, polite, and attentive throughout the meal.
I started with the squid, which was nicely cooked—tender rather than rubbery—and well seasoned. For the main, I had the chorizo tagliatelle, which was excellent. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the chorizo added a strong, smoky flavour that really stood out. Easily the best dish of the evening.
For dessert, I chose the tiramisu. While it was pleasant enough, it felt a little safe and lacked the boozy kick that usually gives tiramisu its depth. Overall, the food was enjoyable, with a standout main, and I’d happily return.

We went here for our 4 year anniversary. The staff are lovely, very friendly, quick to bring your food which is great and you do not feel rushed they time it perfectly ! The food was amazing, great deal with the 3 courses for £19.95 ! My Nan has gone here for years and years and they never fail to impress. Not the largest restaurant but that’s what makes it great and personal. Does get busy even on weekdays so your probably best booking before hand. Homemade desserts were outstanding.

Unfortunately, without a reservation, you have no chance of getting there or waiting for a table, which doesn’t guarantee you’ll get a seat. As for the food, it’s excellent.but so expensive.

We were pleasantly surprised by our first experience at Cial Napoli.. friendly staff, good service, very tasty food and we thoroughly enjoyed our pre theatre meal. We had cheese garlic bread, a veggie pasta dish, picanti we think it was called and some puddings! Tiramasu & Oreo cheesecake… Everything was delicious

What a hidden gem! I have walked past this place dozens of times and never thought to go in.
We went this week after the panto, 10 of us – everything was perfect not one complaint (which was amazing!)
I will definitely be back to try the midweek specials!!

Had some amazing food We brought our two grandchildren who loved the pepperoni pizza and emptied their plates! My husband and I had fungi ripieni and cannelloni with spinach and ricotta Both were very tasty Would highly recommend as the waiter was lovely too !

Fantastic town centre Italiian Trattoria – Amazing food – and a lively atmosphere – small – and on occassions crowded – but that all part of the fun !!!!
Great menu and great service ( a little slow at the time we visited ) – but they did have a table for 14 to serve !! – however one of the best Pizza’s I have ever had in UK – and I know my Pizzas !! ) and lovely wine at sensible prices – REALLY LOVE this place and will be returning !!! Busy Busy when we went there – for pre theatre meal before going to the Octogon – But cant wait to return as this small restraunt is amazing !!!!!! great menu and even better the food and staff – fantastic ! – Next timne I feel like firring up my own Pizza oven – I might just be lazy and order an amazing Pescatore from the Napoli !!!
