Serving eclectic Chinese in the degustation style of the Private Kitchen. Service was impressive with our server even removing a drink I didn’t prefer from our tab.
Had a great dinner at Chyna Club in Las Vegas, overall a solid 4.5-star experience.
Service and atmosphere were an easy 5 stars. The staff was warm, attentive, and on point the whole evening. The vibe is modern, energetic, and surprisingly refined for a restaurant inside a casino, and the entire place actually smells amazing, which immediately puts you in the right mood.
We ordered the chef’s recommended tasting menu, which came with a ton of courses. The food was great, nothing wild or overly experimental, just consistently delicious and perfectly executed for what it is. Clean flavors, beautiful plating, and a super smooth flow from course to course.
One small detail I really enjoyed: you get two chopsticks, a black one for serving and a white one for eating. The chef might come out and serve you with the black chopstick, but of course won’t sit next to you and eat with the white one. It’s thoughtful, hygienic, and adds a fun bit of ceremony to the meal.
And if you try to slip in a bite with your fork, the server might just come by and gently take it out of your hand in the nicest way possible. They genuinely want you to enjoy the food the way it was intended.
Overall, Chyna Club is a great spot for Vegas. I was a little worried about it being inside a casino, but everything turned out fantastic.
A special shoutout to Mr. Perez, who carved our duck. His knife skills were absolutely incredible – every slice was thin, even, and beautifully presented. The duck itself was flavorful, crispy on the outside and tender inside, just perfect.
We were also very lucky to have Ms. Cat as our server. She was attentive, professional, and made sure we had a wonderful dining experience from start to finish.
Highly recommended – I’ll definitely be coming back on my next Vegas trip!
A concept from Wagamama and Hakkasan founder Alan Yau, the interior channeling NoMad Library prior to its rebrand as “The Reserve at Park MGM,” it is upon entering that guests see several small rooms around a central dining area and bar lined with top-shelf Spirits.
Best considered upscale-Cantonese, former Wing Lei Chef Richard Chen fully in charge of a menu ranging from Peking Duck to XLB, bilingual staff prove friendly yet professional and forthcoming while the menu is offered a la carte or as one of two Tasting Menus.
Visited on the first day of Chinese New Year, a third Tasting and several Cocktails added, it was after brief perusal that the $160 Peking Duck Tasting was selected in addition to a pair of a la carte favorites and Cocktails including an innovative take on the Bee’s Knees with Osmanthus Honey.
Matched to complimentary Valet Parking, an amuse of Shrimp quickly followed by a crispy Croquette of Taro around confit Duck with Caviar Cream, those who grow tired of bite-after-bite of traditional Peking Duck will be happy to see Chyna Club’s carved tableside for a four-wrap taste before the rest is returned to the kitchen for another five plates.
Coursed out across two and a half hours, though those going to a show can request faster service, fans of Shrimp Toast will find Chef Chen’s version light like Quenelles de Brochet while Peking Duck Salad features mixed Greens with a generous amount of Duck, Citrus, Almonds and Peanut Dressing.
No less impressive with 12-hour Duck Consomme, complex yet clear as a bell around delicate Dumplings, preserved Morels add a lot of earth to Wok-Tossed Duck with Peppers and Bean Sauce offered alongside Duck Fat Rice and perfectly cooked Chow Mein.
Busier than one might expect on Sunday at Fontainebleau, though the server from Hong Kong always found time to talk with guests as time allowed, $42 Walnut Prawns seem expensive until one realizes they are U-5 Tiger Prawns cooked snappy beneath faultless batter in naturally sweetened Sauce with pops of Caviar.
Wrapping with Dessert, a Choux “Swan” taking inspiration from Black Forest Cake to delight the eyes and mouth, Coffee or Tea sees proper Petit Fours including a honest-to-goodness Financier and Guava Gelees.
The Peking Duck stole the show…..crispy, succulent, and simply unforgettable. We rounded out the feast with Wagyu potstickers, tender baby back ribs, scallop & egg fried rice (WOW-worthy), and green beans so good we almost fought over the last bite. The cocktails were equally impressive with balanced, top-shelf, quality ingredients that made them dangerously easy to love.
As a table of four, we felt perfectly guided into a menu that worked together like a culinary symphony. And while it was a Friday night, the quiet ambiance was a gift in itself…..serene, intimate, and a far cry from the crowded strip.
Bravo to Fontainebleau for curating such an exceptional dining experience. If you’re tired of the overhyped and underwhelming, head to the end of the strip and treat yourself to a meal that feels truly special.
We ordered the Alaskan King Crab which was also prepared in 3 ways: stir fried crab with the popular ginger and scallions, crab fried rice and steamed crab with garlic and vermicelli which is mouth watering and to die for. As for the service, we have CAT as our waitress. She is the best, so sweet in explaining all the dishes and gave recommendations what can be prepared with your choice of seafood. The service was prompt and quick since we had the show to catch. CAT is truly hospitable, and wonderful. Please ask for her when you visit the restaurant. We had our best anniversary dinner here with the impeccable service and amazing food. Will definitely come back here again for our next celebration.
Chyna Club at Fontainebleau offers a refined, comfortable dining experience — and while some dishes impressed, others left me reaching for the hot sauce.
The Food
Wagyu Pot Stickers – Honestly, these were underwhelming. Without the dipping sauce, they were pretty bland, and even with it, I expected more depth of flavor.
Peking Duck – This is the star of the show. They carve the full duck table-side, which is always a treat, and the meat itself was juicy and flavorful. You get crepes, hoisin sauce, scallions, and cucumbers to assemble your wraps — but not enough crepes to use up all the duck. We asked for more and were surprised to find there’s an extra charge. For a full duck, this feels like it should be included.
Peking Duck Fried Rice – You can opt to have the leftover duck meat used in fried rice (which we did), but the portion of meat that came back felt… suspiciously smaller than what left the table. Flavor-wise, it was also on the mild side and really came alive only after adding hot sauce.
The Highlights
The duck itself — rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked — was worth the visit. The rest of the dishes were fine but didn’t hit the same high note.
Atmosphere & Service
We were seated in the library area, which was cozy with comfortable seating and a relaxed vibe. The restaurant wasn’t very busy, which is unusual for Vegas and left me wondering why — though it did make for a peaceful dinner.
Service was attentive and friendly. Pricing was actually reasonable for Vegas fine dining, especially for the quality of the duck.

Final Verdict:
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – I’d absolutely return for the Peking Duck and would try a few other courses next time. Just be ready to pay for extra crepes and keep the hot sauce handy.
Chyna club is more like a Cantonese cuisine and the interior setting looks like a club. It is not that bright so the lighting is comfortable. Dress code is business casual.
Severs and staff are super friendly and nice. We had a few conversations with them. Food is delicious! I can taste it like it has that authentic feel to it although of course you cannot compare it to restaurants in Hong Kong or China but to find it in Vegas, it’s very surprising.
Cost of it is more on the expensive side. People might think the food is good but its not worth it because of how expensive it is. Yes and no. While its expensive but it’s also the experiences, service, the vibe and etc.
Highly recommended to come and try this!
