The food is fresh, well presented and mega mas bueno yummy. First time here. Won’t be the last. It’s located 2 blocks in so, it’s not far from the river.. Try this property. You can’t go wrong..

Miguel was our waiter today. He was very quiet and just took our order and served our food. Not much else in the way of interaction. The DJ was great; he was doing karaoke with varying genres of music. Our food arrived quickly and was good. The shrimp cocktail was delicious! The guacamole was a generous portion. Don’t pass up that dish. Prices are a bit expensive for Progreso but it was our first time so now we know what to expect.

We went at a time when there wasn’t lots of people. We got great service by Alonzo. The food was really good but smaller portions than i expected.

Not great but just okay! Great chips and salsas and yummy margaritas. The coconut shrimp were way to sweet and the jam that came with it was even sweeter. The friend fries and bread that came with it also weren’t that great. The rice was good! The red snapper was definitely better than the shrimp and the mashed potato side wasn’t too bad either. Would try somewhere different next time.

Great service and prices. There’s even a balcony if you would prefer to eat outside. But considering it’s summer, I don’t know why anyone would want to.

This Red Snapper is farther south than Chuy’s Red Snapper and on the west side of the street. Several stores past the Canada Store. It’s a bit of a hike to get there. I didn’t notice the outdoor balcony seating until we had already been served. Delicious and reasonably priced meals. I had the Economy Mexican Plate & my sister had the regular Mexican Plate. She couldn’t eat all of hers. My portions were just right. Ice cold Indio beer. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere with a singer playing his organ. I forgot to take pics of our plates! Entry to the restaurant requires climbing a staircase. Bathroom was clean.

Apparently, they have a MEGA watered down margarita that doesn’t taste like it has ANY tequila. I was so disappointed when we got our drinks. My husband ordered Titos with OJ and I ordered a margarita on the rocks and i had to order extra shots to pour. When the manager overheard my comments about the drinks, she said that their “Happy Hour” margaritas aren’t “as strong” as the regular. I didn’t even know they had happy hour. I told her I just ordered a margarita. The next one was BOMB!

Didn’t taste their food, but they had live music, which was nice.
